Indian Food Express — Restaurant in Yorba Linda

I recently decided to order from Indian Food Express in Yorba Linda, California, after seeing rave reviews on Anaheim Hills Buzz on Facebook. My expectations were cautiously high, given that food delivery can often arrive just “okay” and not particularly fresh when using services like Grubhub, Uber Eats, or DoorDash.

To my pleasant surprise, Indian Food Express truly exceeded my expectations! I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan, and both dishes were outstanding.

At first, I thought the Chicken Tikka Masala might be just another standard dish, but it completely blew me away. The chicken was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection, soaking up the rich, creamy sauce that was perfectly balanced with spices.

The Garlic Naan was equally impressive. It arrived soft, warm, and with just the right amount of garlic. It was the perfect companion to the Chicken Tikka Masala, making every mouthful even more enjoyable. It would have been better fresh.

Not only was the food fantastic, but the delivery was also prompt and courteous, ensuring everything was in great condition upon arrival.

Indian Food Express has definitely earned a top spot in my list of go-to places for Indian cuisine, whether dining in or ordering delivery. Highly recommend to anyone craving authentic and delicious...

From Nov, 2023: Not East Indian by birth, but I spent enough time with them that I had had my share of good home-made Indian food. This one is not bad at all!

We ordered

1. Goat biryani - Goat is dry. Quite disappointed. Flavor is there though.
2. Chicken korma - Chicken thigh is so tender! Spice is there, and it tastes so rich.
3. Lamb curry - Tastes so right with plenty of spices. The yogurt they give has plenty of good spices, too! Recommend!

Jan, 2024: Tried chicken curry another day - tender chicken thigh again! Flavor also spot-on. My toddler daughter was drinking their curry like it's broth.

Goat curry - Goat is not bad, but it's all lean meat, so it's a little on the hard/dry side. Will stay away from goat dishes...

I had an absolutely amazing experience at this restaurant. Let's talk about the food. I ordered a feast for my girlfriend and I, starting with the chicken tikka masala, goat curry, samosas, and garlic naan. Each dish was a masterpiece of flavors. The chicken tikka was incredibly tender and bathed in a rich, creamy tomato sauce that had just the right balance of spices. The goat curry had a depth of flavor that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The samosas were perfectly crispy, filled with a savory mixture of spiced potatoes and peas. And oh, the garlic naan! It was soft, fluffy, and infused with a wonderful garlic aroma that complemented the other dishes perfectly.
