I came just as they were about to close and rather than turn me away they said "we'll serve you so long aa you don't mind us cleaning around you." I said no problem it will remind me of home. Since this was my first time here I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs (made with 100% pure beef). I always judge authentic Italian restaurants by their spaghetti and meatballs. If they can't get that traditional right then fuggitaboutit! It was absolutely delicious. The meatballs were seasoned perfectly and the meat sauce was homemade and think. I had to pack the rest of it to go because no way could I finish it all. There was a lovely couple oohing and aahing over their dish "olive oil and roasted garlic over angel hair" that its on my must try when I return. The couple said to order it kinda dry on the oil and half the garlic and its perfect. This is a small, cozy family owned business with owners that have a heart of gold. They truly love their customers. The garlic bread is also tasty.

If you are looking for a quiet place to have dinner I suggest Sister Sicily. I found this restaurant via a Google search of Italian food from the serval choices in Yorba Linda. We decided on this one based on the simple traditional Italian menu we saw online. We were not disappointed. I was told that the pasta, bread and sauces are made fresh daily. From the smell, looks, and taste of our dinner I am a believer. I personally tried the raviolis and it made me think of my mom's fresh cheese raviolis. The menu is simple and traditional. The sauces paired to certain pastas in the menu can be interchanged. I was told that the chefs enjoy creating special requests not specified in the menu. Moreover the restaurant is clean and the soft ambient lighting together with the nice wall decor adds to the allure of the place. We felt very comfortable and safe considering COVID protocols. We learned that this restaurant is family owned and under new ownership since October 2020.

Fabulous hole in the wall! Seating area is small and dinner rush fills up really quick so best to call ahead to make sure table availability. The bruschetta is abundant with flavor and comes with a lot to share, definitely my favorite appetizer. I recommend trying your pasta with their vodka sauce, it tastes unlike any other vodka sauce I’ve had before and adds a nice garlicky kick to your entree. If you’re feeling a pizza, I like the margherita and there’s a bunch of basil so don’t worry about there only being one leaf on each slice. The gelato is sweet and dense and a nice way to cool off the night. Pistachio and almond I recommend. Staff is friendly and the manager loves to come around to talk with customers. Wish this place had more seating because everyone deserves to try this place.

Ate there tonight. Was really looking forward to a nice evening out with friends and to try a new restaurant. We were seated promptly and shortly thereafter the place filled up. We ordered an appetizer and placed our order prior to the other tables. The appetizer came after our dinner salads. The fried zucchini was good but should have been served prior to the salads. We waited and waited for our entrees and watched as every other table got their food yet ours just didn't come. The waitress apologized several times saying how busy they were and it was coming yet, still no food. We asked to speak to the Manager and he apologized again saying how busy they were. Still no excuse. Our food finally came an hour and a half later after we had filled up on our salad, appetizer and bread and were no longer hungry. A few bites of our entrees proved food was good (2 to 3 stars) but not exceptional. Note: Soft drinks only, no beer or wine. The place is very small, tables too close to each other and pretty uncomfortable. I watched people walk sideways to the restroom - it's that tight! My impression - they have a nice menu and seemed to be doing a heck of a pizza delivery business. I think they should stick with pizzas and not try to make it a true Italian restaurant with lots of pasta, chicken and seafood options. They are just trying to do too much. The Manager did knock a percentage off our meal but not enough to give them our repeat business...

After my beloved Angelo & Vinci's closed in downtown Fullerton I ventured off to find a new pizza and antipasto salad joint that could compare. This place had been recommended so I gave it a try with a take-out order of 3 large pizza’s, chicken picatta, a beet salad, and antipasto salad. Food quality wise everything was great and closely resembled years of memories at A & V. The standard menu only shows a single-serving antipasto salad and we needed to feed 8, so when we called in our order for take-out we asked if they had a family size antipasto salad and the gentleman said yes, we have it in a ā€œhalf tray sizeā€. We thought without hesitation great, and we completed our order and drove to pick it up. Not once during the phone call did the restaurant mention the $90.00 price tag for a family size antipasto salad. To say the least we were slightly shocked at pick up time that the salad we ordered was going to cost $90.00. The 3 large pizzas cost less than the salad. The large antipasto salad at A & V was $33.95 at time of their closing last year. And $60.00 would have been a fair price considering inflation and rising wages. 5-stars for the food quality, 3-stars for the staff not stating the price of an item not on the regular menu, and 1-star to me for not asking…….just never expected the shocking price. Didn't rate atmosphere as we did take-out. Will be back for pizza in the future but hold the...

Our first visit was amazing. The pizza is good with extra sauce and extra cheese. Sometimes they don't give the extra cheese though, which is a bummer. Each time we went back, they messed up something in the order. We stopped going so often and will drive extra to a different pizza spot. If you decide to go here, beware. The Mexican cooks do it right. The kids in the back- ehhh... becareful! You might not get what you order. If you're willing to take the gamble, I highly recommend this place. The side of meatballs and fettuccine Alfredo angle hair pasta is good- except the sauce is inconsistent. It's either too much or very little and the pasta/ meatballs are dry. The side of shrimp is good, except sometimes the shrimp are OVER done. When picking up the pizza, they don't always have plates and napkins to go. So if your taking it out to an event, Goodluck! After so many mistakes, it got old. It was okay while it lasted.. sad to see that it didn't live up to our first experience. I told them we were new to town and wanted to try this place out. It's almost like they planned the first time to have GREAT service, food, and atmosphere, because like I said before, every time after was...
