Raley's — Local services in Yreka

I've been shopping at this store for three years, and in that time I have not once seen the organic greens bin clean. They were nasty looking on my first visit, and are still nasty looking. I reported this to corporate when invited to provide feedback, but received no response. One day I commented about the state of the bin to an employee working in the produce department, and he grabbed a sprayer and vigorously sprayed the dirty walls of the bin, creating backsplash which hit me - yuck! I consider that an aggressive act, just because I asked about having the bins cleaned and looking nice, and it didn't do anything to actually clean the bin, which needs the produce removed so it can be thoroughly cleansed. The organic greens are often wilted, and the ends of the stalks are often brown and starting to rot; I always look at the ends of the stalks to determine how long the greens have likely been sitting in the bin before deciding whether to purchase any. The past few weeks every time I buy kale, it's been infested with aphid-like bugs - I don't mean a few bugs, I mean INFESTED. It's so bad I doubt it will clear up on its own. I'm attaching a few photos I took last year. Doesn't the health department inspect grocery stores regularly? If there was another decent grocery store in this town, I'd absolutely shop for my produce there; as it is, whenever I have occasion to go into one of the larger cities, I take advantage of those opportunities to stock up on beautiful, fresh produce being sold from clean,...

Have been utilizing the Raley's e-cart option since mid March when it became clear that the covid-19 virus was a real threat.

Several mistakes in my first two orders were annoying but entirely understandable given the sudden volume of e-cart use as the pandemic suddenly shifted shopping habits and (likely) new staff was hired to meet the challenge. I must add that the staff has been courteous and responsive from the start - which made patience through the somewhat rocky start much easier to achieve.

All subsequent orders have been executed very well. Courtesy and kindness are evident in every interaction with a Raley's staff member.

I would highly recommend this service to anyone who prefers not to be wandering grocery aisles right now, as way too many people are apparently still insisting on their "right" to stand too close and to not wear masks.

Have been visiting them since years. Every time I come to YREKA I gotta visit this place. Probably the only store where you will variety of quality foods including my Wallaby. Store also has a great eating options specially loved the grilled sandwiches that was custom prepared. This super market has it all when it comes to groceries specially loved the organic vegetable and fruits sections. Also the fresh produce in fish and meat section is something to look for however most of them is gone quickly. When it comes to staffs most of them are very helpful and goes beyond to help but I know it’s a very difficult job they do so they forget to smile while attending there customer and some of them looks dead serious 😂.
