A friend of mine from another local business recommended this shop. I have a really hard time taking my vehicle anywhere because of past experiences. I stopped in to see how much a diagnostic would cost for a noise that My vehicle was making. They said 125 and that was cheaper than anywhere I had checked by a $100. Alright I like a deal. I went ahead and went with them. The morning I dropped it off I went ahead and checked about some transmission fluid services. I knew the vehicle needed to be done. He definitely knew what he was talking about. Anything that he thought was questionable he checked the computer system and was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and didn't need to be done. He definitely didn't try to suggest anything that was gonna cost me more money that wasn't necessary. The diagnostic process included taking the part out that was defective to check it. He called me to let me know what was going on and how much the part was. He told me labor fees weren't necessary because they had already had the part out. Another something he could have charged me for but did. It really just comes down to honesty and integrity. I really appreciate all of the help. l'm very thankful for you answering all of my questions. I've never had a car past a 120000 miles so there's a lot of maintenance that I've never had to do. 1/08/25, i wanted to update my reviews.Since it has been a while. I still take my vehicle to A j's. When it is needed, but their customer service always goes above and beyond. So I called from LA the day after New Year's, and was like, my window won't roll up. I explained that I was in LA and had a 7 hour drive home, but I wanted to bring it by because it was supposed to rain the entire day after that. So on a Friday, they put my car on the schedule for 4 o'clock. I got there, dropped it off. We talked about leaving it overnight because of the weather. They called me within an hour and let me know what was going on and how much it would be. They called me the next day to let me know it was done, and it was actually $50 cheaper than they had quoted. I have never in my life seen a mechanic shop charge somebody less than...

Don't waste your time! They don't get you in on your appointment time. Made an appointment and couldn't make it that day so I rescheduled for today and when I went in I was told it would be over an hour to put a new tire on because everyone is going on lunch. I said well I can't wait that long. I had an appointment time why isn'ty car going to be seen at that appointment time. The manager said he wouldn't work on my car anymore. Just don't waste your time with this place. I wish I could give them 0 stars.

Edit:Those are not my accounts! My last name is not Thompson. Car had already been approved by the company because I had brought it in for you guys to look at it beforehand. There was always a mix-up with what was going to be done on my vehicle You would say one thing and they'd say they approve something completely different. Yes my daughter had a school event and that is why I had to cancel the first time. The second time I had to cancel because I work and flew in and had only gotten 2 hours of sleep. And I also canceled that 4:00 appointment at 11:00 when my plane landed. You guys can try to make all the excuses you want but it shows how professional you are by your response. Andy's Auto and repair I first went to them because, I had a diagnostic test done at O'Reilly's because, my check engine light was on and Lady that did it said I need to get a smoke test maybe had a hole in one of my hoses. and I asked the girl at O'Reilly's where could I go that I'm not going to get ripped off? and she said Andy's across the street so that's where I went. they discovered that my hoses were on backwards so I didn't need the smoke test and they put my houses on right and didn't charge me and the check engine light was off. they advised me to drive the car for about a week and see if the check engine light still stayed off and it did so I went back there and got my smog through them. This last Friday I had to go to Oroville and I had been noticing before that that I was losing coolant so my car overheated I drove it straight to them and they discovered my water pump needed to be replaced they quoted me a price which I didn't quite have that much but they were willing to go down on the price and work with me. They also made sure that I got to work and picked me up from work and my car is as good as new now I really appreciate it.
