Anna's Alterations — Local services in Yuba City

If zero stars was an option , Ana would get zero stars. She is the worst person to give your clothes for any alterations whether it is South Asian clothing or Western Clothing. She is never consistent with her time and never has your clothes done by the agreed pick up time. Ana has changed the time three times just so she can finish the alterations. During the agreed pick up time , another customer and I went to pick up our South Asian clothing and was frustrated that we came 10-15 minutes earlier than the final pick up time. Once the other customer with me told her she was no longer interested in giving her anymore business she replies “ No education” then the customer in confusion questions her and says “ You’re saying I have no education? “ and Ana replies “ Yes you have no education” Ana clearly does not value her customers and discriminates against them. Personally , it just seems like Ana was projecting since her English is not very well spoken. Take your time and business to someone who does not belittle and degrade their customers. The first time I used Ana's I was impressed. Then I took her 4 large pillow cases to sew. She took 6 weeks and charged $75. Ouch. But I tried again with a Lindy Bop dress I had purchased that was much too big (but was going to cost $80 to ship back to the UK). She said it would take one week. I gave her 2 before I went back to check. This went on from June to November!!!! 5 months it took for me to get my dress done! And never once was I rude, did I throw a fit- maybe I should have- but I was patient and there was not any event I needed the dress for. They did not charge me. I wasn't ever going to use her again but people kept telling me how unusual that was and how much they love her work. So I got suckered. Now, when I walked in they remembered me. You would think that then they would go above and beyond. But no. I dropped another dress off last week and was told it would be done Wednesday. I made it clear I need it for a wedding on Saturday. I dropped off Thursday asking to have my dress done by Saturday. She said pick up a little before they closed at 3. I called her on Saturday asking if my dress was done at 12 pm she said it wasn't and she was still working on it, but that she was closing early.
