Update: last review was from a week ago and was we got there after 2:30pm. Today we went at 12:30 and I regret it. The food and service was night and day difference from last week. Last week was awesome and this was just ick. I got my lettuce wrap charburger and couldn't see the meat, carefully unwrapped it and it had all slipped out the back, also tasted poorly and no extra pickles again. My husband's charburger had a burnt taste. We recieved a much smaller amount of fries and onion rings compared to last week. We asked for no salt on both and they took an extra 25 min to cook. I choose no salt due to dietary restrictions not because I want "fresh fries" so don't punish me for it. The worst part of it was that my onion rings were extra crispy (did not ask for that) and absolutely drenched in oil. DRENCHED. There was a pool of freely moving oil in the bottom of the tray. Never have I been served by another Habit something so disgusting. When I picked the onion rings up and dropped them on the tray they left lovely oil circles! Completely saturated! The onion rings are what I look forward to the most and I couldn't even finish them! Had to wash my hands and face they were so oily.
My husband talked to the manager "nothings wrong with them, thats normal". If thats you're normal than this must be one of the worst Habits in California. I've been to several up and down California and NEVER have I recieved something so unacceptable.
After we got in the car my husband and I had stomach pains.
Wtf happened??? Last week was amazing and today was just awful! Bring back those people that were working last week. Even if the one that said the onion rings were "normal" was also here last week. We wont be coming back to this Habit.
Went there for a quick lunch. We both ordered lettuce wrapped charburgers with onion rings and fries. I requested no salt on these because I have to watch sodium intake or risk illness. Everything tasted awesome and was delicious, will definitely go again.
If I had a gripe it was minor. I asked for extra pickles and I dont know what constitutes as "extra" to them but I did not get extra pickles. I believe I only had a total of 4 pickle pieces, lets increase that next time for people who order "extra".
A second gripe is I have a personal preference to order through people, not so much machine. If you wait for them they will just look at you then ignore you like you don't exist until you use the computer. Unless of course you're elderly. Then they guide you through how to order but won't take your order. There were only 3 tables occupied and 2 had food so its not like they had a reason to ignore. Whatever....

Well I used to until I felt taken advantage of.... So this time the drive thru was off the hook & decided to do curbside pickup bc I still do not want to go in anywhere bc I have to wear a mask and gloves. Well....Curbside pickup is an absolute joke! This is the 2nd time I waited the parking lot for over 25 mins after I checked in and said I was there. This time, I eventually had to mask up and glove up to go inside to get my food that had been sitting on the counter for who knows how long. When I told her I didn’t want to eat cold food and I wanted my money back, her excuse was I cannot give online refunds. Oh but they sure can take my money and OVERCHARGE me. For downloading their app and registering I got a “free” burger. BS! I ordered another #1 and onion rings and walked out paying 22.22. Tell me how a free burger, a drink, onion ring and another $9 meal adds up to over 20$!!! It doesn’t. I told her I was overcharged and she said the same stupid excuse. Read moreThe hours online said the drive thru closed at 12am. We placed our order at 9:30pm by clicking the simple “order pickup” button on google. We received several messages and even one confirming our order was ready for pickup. When we arrived at the restaurant they informed us that the order was not made because they closed at 9pm and yet no one called us to inform us of that. (annoying but not the end of the world.) Then they still charged my card. When we called to resolve the issue they said since it was through google Postmates is who charged my card so only they can refund me. Annoying again but we we’re charged $35 for food we never received. So I call Postmates and they’re saying “no Habit Burger must refund you and have them reach out to us.” I call Habit Burger again and they still said “no it’s Postmates problem but we’ll reach out and get back to you in a few days but there’s really nothing we can do.” So we’ve now spoken to Habit Burger and Postmates neither of them will refund my money and keep blaming each other.
