My Boba Spot — Restaurant in Yuba City

I ordered a drink with Boba in it, obviously. My son ordered a strawberry smoothie. They forgot about ("lost") my order and then took over an hour to make the drinks. When finally made, they got my order wrong and then forgot that I ordered 2 separate drinks. Instead, they mixed the 2 flavors together, strawberry matcha.... nah

Many others that ordered over a 1/2 hour after me received their drinks looong before me, which was kind of frustrating. I had to tell the boss/owner/whoever I could find my situation in order for them to even begin making me the wrong drink formerly mentioned. But honestly, whatever.... I wasn't particularly busy, and the shop was nice, so my 3 yr old son and I just played around. I can understand confusion the first week a business is open.

But after waiting 1½ hours, they gave me a variant (brown sugar matcha) of the drink I actually ordered, with no Boba in it, NONE. They didn't even let me know that there wouldn't be any Boba in it, another customer who had a similar experience to mine (also with a young child) told me that they just informed her they "ran out of Boba".

This was my first time trying Boba, and they ran out 🤣 I'm frustrated because they forgot, made the drinks wrong, and then ran out of Boba from serving customers that literally ordered and hour after me. And then they never mentioned it to me. Like NOT having Boba in my Boba from a Boba spot was totally normal.......

That's my experience. The atmosphere is tight, though. And the woman at the register was Hella nice, which is the only reason they don't...

In a nutshell; pretty neat boba shop to fulfill your boba cravings in Yuba city.

The shop has all the basics down for a boba shop in terms of boba choices. A nice handful of flavors to choose from. With that said, I'm not quite sure when the place opens but it feels it still in its roots in terms of finding what they can stand out with or what their Forte will be. They didn't have much food options but the bubble waffle I got that has three flavors at the time of this review was a nice addition to the boba I ordered. If I do have one qualm with the bubble waffle Is was that it seems like it just got tossed in a brown paper bag which i hope can be improved on next time. Overall the place has a neat wall to take pictures on and a rare sight of two swings indoors which can keep the kids / anyone occupied while waiting for their orders. Servers/employees were all nice too and you get greeted with a friendly smile so that's always a plus.

Overall , good to see a nice boba shop...

Tried to order online and system said "Payment Details: This restaurant does not have any payment methods enabled for pickup. Please try again at a later date." Then tried to call to order and the phone line was disconnected. Will try to go to store and order in person and update review.

UPDATE: Went in, they open at noon. Cute place, lots of room to hang out. Girls were listening to country music which kinda made me laugh. Drink was quick and you could smell the boba being prepared. Presentation was great, but sadly it tastes like a powder mix, chalky. I got the brown sugar milk tea at the girls recommendation. Not overly sweet which I was thankful for, but couldn't get past the chalky-ness, but boba was cooked perfectly and their prices are considered...
