Babies to Teens Consignment Shop — Local services in Yuba City

BE VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN BUYING ANY TOYS FROM THIS STORE!!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I took my 6-year-old daughter to buy a toy on 11/22/22.  My daughter bought a toy for about $4.00.  When we were paying we asked if the toy worked because it was not turning on.  The employee said that they check the toys before they go up for sale to make sure they work.  I trusted the employee and did not check to make sure the toy worked.  The next day,  we opened the compartment to put in new batteries and we found batteries already in the toy. I thought that was weird but when ahead and changed the batteries.  The toy still was not working. We even tried a different brand of batteries.  I called the store and was asked to take the toy back.  The employee says that the owner said they remember the toy working because two other boys had previously played with the toy prior to me buying it.  Obviously, the toy was broken when I bought it, or else it would have turned on at the store.  Owners refused to give me a credit, or exchange nor did they apologize.  I could care less about the money. I'm just upset that they did not even try to make the situation right. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!!!!

Just FYI..... The toy was in the same condition as when I left the store. They are trying to say that I took back a broken toy. Ridiculous that they treat their community customers like this. Second of all the owners never seen the toy when I tried to return the toy at the store. The employee was on the phone with the owner and that is how they based their decision. Very unprofessional!!!!!

As a business owner when you have a customer that is upset you should try to resolve the issues yourself not through the phone with...

They have it all for the 0-16 and even have some ladies dresses! Both new and used items.

I love you take stuff in and use my store credit. The staff are exceptionally polite.

They have all your baby needs (diapers, onesies, bassinets, strollers, pumps, cloth diapers, bottles, swings, baby toys, baby monitors, play mats, decor for the nursery). I mean you name it and you might find it there. Keep in mind it’s a consignment store but there’s always a large selection.

They also have boys clothes; shoes, shorts, pants, sports clothes, coats, sweaters, pajamas, etc

For girls they have the following: tons of tops, skirts, dresses, shorts, pajamas, swimsuits, flannel tops, shoes, heels, boots, hair ties, bows, room decor, jewelry, crop tops, coats, sweaters, etc

I love that the locals sell they homemade items there. Why go to Etsy when you can check out the cute cups, bows, hair accessories, and candles you can find there.

The store is always clean and it is very well organized by size and season.

I try and stop each time Im in the area.

It’s Plumas street so parking can be fun but there is a small parking lot a few feet from the store.

Oh they also have Halloween costumes!!!!!

I've been shopping here since they were at the previous location. Prices for shoppers are decent, some things being a bit overpriced. The owner is very pleasant and super friendly. As a seller, I would not recommend this place to anyone. They mark up used items, and you see very little return for your items. The new girl that works there is extremely unhelpful, and it's like pulling teeth to get her to look through things. She only accepts things that she determines to be new. Will say things are stained when they aren't. Won't accept partial sets of any clothes, but then accepts them when she deems appropriate. Will turn away items, just for them to be brought back and her later accept them. If you have to make a drive beware, she will decide randomly when she no longer feels like going through your things and will tell you to come back later. Everything needs to be in a toter, which they have multiple available in the store, but you're not allowed to use them if your items are in bags. She really just makes it up as she goes, and don't you dare ask her to do anything that is actually her job. She will treat you with an attitude....
