GTO Acambaro Panaderia — Restaurant in Yuba City

I went in today and bought three pumpkin empanadas. When I took a bite of one, I immediately noticed that the dough was raw inside. I went back in to let the cashier know and asked if I could exchange it for something that was actually cooked. She didn’t seem to understand me at first as she only spoke Spanish, so I tried showing her the raw dough. She ended up calling someone (I assume the manager or owner) and handed me the phone. That person told me I couldn’t get a refund or an exchange because the empanada was broken into it which doesn’t make sense, since I only took one bite to discover the problem, and obviously they can’t resell raw or touched food anyway.

The customer service was poor, and instead of taking responsibility for selling raw food, they refused to make it right. I left very disappointed and want others to know how they run their business. At the end of the day I never got my refund/exchange and left with my...

Their bread is good however not my favorite. I come here mostly for the cakes, their tres leches is so good and super moist. They always seem to mess up the decoration i requested for my cake so make sure you take and leave color,picture, etc examples there. Also make sure the person taking your order rights down every detail so the person decorating knows exactly how you want it. I still go for cakes here even after messing up my decoration because they make good cakes then...

Yummy Mexican bread! I usually get the pan de huevo i think that's what its called! I tried the pineapple empenadas and was a bit disappointed. It seems as if they used pie filling. Not authentic pineapple filling. Its hard to explain. There's real pineapple filling & then theirs pineapple flavored filling. This was the latter. But the clerk was really nice & compassionate to my friend who just had surgery. Great...
