Kohl's — Local services in Yuba City

Most of the time I enjoy shopping at Kohl's, but when I went there yesterday, I needed to find what I wanted quickly and even with my husbands help, we were not finding it. I had just said that we needed to ask for some help, when a woman who worked for Kohl's walked by over heard me. She spun around and in a not so friendly tone asked what I was looking for. I explained that I was looking for a certain type of mattress cover, not a "topper", but a zippered cover. She asked if I had looked for it myself and waved her arm in the area in which we had looked. I was kind of taken back by her tone, but mostly her facial expression. It was as if we were bothering her. She proceeded to tell me that all pads and covers were in the area I was in & stormed off, even before we could say, "thank you?". My husband was more help to me that day for sure and he found what I needed. Perhaps she was dealing with employee issues this day. Now, on the bright side, the young man that helped check us out, he more than made up for her bad mood! He smiled, made us feel happy to be standing in front of him! Plus, I forgot my coupons, but he gave me 20...

Horrible customer service by the Particular cashier I had she is very pushy with the surveys and if you don’t do one, she gets rude so I did one. She asked me to turn off my phone location while doing the survey, which I thought was very odd. Still never got a good answer when I asked. Even after the survey, she was still rude. I also had to come back to get the alarm tag taken off one of my items which is a complete inconvenience, especially when you want to wear it and that tag is on it. Even more annoying when I talked with her about how this has happened before prior to purchasing my items she assured me it wouldn’t happen again. Well, it did.!!!! I was greeted by a gentleman at the door who was very pleasant Let’s just say, I will definitely steer clear of her line if I ever see her cashiering again and unfortunately, she’s there all the time it seems when I go there so maybe if this keeps happening I just won’t shop...

I was disappointed with my visit this time. It was on a Sunday afternoon and they had been sending me daily e-mails re: their sales. This store is farther away from me than the YC mall or the other shopping areas along Hwy 20 that I normally frequent. So I made a special effort to go and it was not at all busy. There were several checkers at the registers up front but they were talking among themselves with only a few customers. Even though I had several things on my list to look for and hopefully purchase, I looked in several different departments, things were strewn all over the floor such as in shoes, shelves and racks of clothing were all in disarray. I am a person that likes things neat and in order, and the messy appearance just left me feeling waisted so I left w/o anything! I may try earlier in the day next time, but if this continues I will shop store in Redding, which in resent past, was...
