Dollar Tree — Local services in Yukon

Lady name Vicky was very rude! No hi, thank you, or have a nice day! I really don’t care for any type of communication. Every dollar tree I’ve been too, always have been really nice to me! It shocks me that people have hatred in themselves. I will continue to bless and pray for them!

I went in line in back of another lady which was very chatty with the cashier. normally in hawaii People would want to be nice and put down the divider. since I wanted to put my items down I attempted to grab the divider and the cashier with a dark soul in her eyes looked at me and push the divider were it was unreachable! In my mind, omg I have to deal with people like that, such a shame..shameful..really shameful!! I mean I waited for the lady in front of me to move to the paying area and her item was already down before I place my stuff down. That’s what it is for to separate your stuff with others, I successful got it and put down the divider.

What’s weird is that she was still ringing up the person in front of me items, she looks at me and removes it! Wow really! Shameful! So I grab it and put it down behind my items, so the other person can put her items down. I was trying to stay calm, but boy I was so shock!

When she started scanning my items, straight rude attitude! I was quite surprised! I felt kind of sorry.

I’m from Hawaii, where we have aloha! But I’m a bit sad I had to experience this! Felt like I experienced some racist event. Sad, I was with my kiddos and I hate for them to see people’s hatred and negativity!

I really don’t understand why she treated me like that, maybe because I am Asian or is it that my skin was dark? Who knows? A bit of a life experience that I have to carry for the rest of my life!

Three stars because this place is the cleanest dollar tree and I experienced more positive from other than what I experienced today from her!

I shop here often for greeting cards, gift bags and such. I went today and was totally shocked at the appearance of the store, nothing was restocked. Nothing was picked up off the floor. I've lived in Oklahoma all of my life, and have lived through many tornadoes. On a tornado scale, this store was struck by an F4 tornado. I have never in my life have shopped in a messy store like this. The man at the register was the only one working, There were 2 young employees ( one male and one female) there laughing and cutting up, then disappeared into the office together, not coming back out to help the gentleman at the register. I hope someone from corporate makes a surprise drop in visit to see this mess. I was there at 1:30 p.m. on a Monday. I would hope that shoppers would be more courteous and pick up anything they drop, but this was horrible. I enjoy shopping at Dollar Tree, just hope it gets cleaned up and...

This is my go to place for small last minute party items, gift cards, holiday/seasonal decor, balloons, toiletries, cleaning supplies, toys, gift wrapping bags bows tape tissue. They do offer light snacks and a few pantry items and some freezer items. Easy to get in and out most of the time. The best part everything is a dollar unless otherwise marked. So very inexpensive especially if you are on a tight budget. This location is organized and well stocked most of the time. They recently took carpeting out and put vinyl floor tiles in. They do offer shopping carts and or hand baskets to carry all you can. The staff is pretty nice and helpful. Occasionally they are overwhelmed and seemed a little stressed but they are generally very kind. Be kind to them.... Pay them a compliment... It will...
