Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Yukon

Okay, real talk. I'm sipping on the "Caramelizer" as I type this so I'll put in the time to leave an honest review.

First time coming here, needed some energy for a busy night of work- it's 8:30pm. The location is great, right on the corner, small, simple, sleek. The two laned drive-thru is great EXCEPT there's no speaker box. You can look at the menu but must order at the ONE window. This is an incredibly flawed system especially for a Coffee shop, coffee always sells, lines will almost always be full so taking one order at a time leads to long waits. Customers get impatient, employees get stressed,drinks get messed up. This isn't a good look, especially when they customers have to wait 10+ minutes at a "Grab and Go" joint.

The line wasn't as full as it has been in the pst few days, just 4 cars but I still waited 20 minutes. I can't imagine what the waits were like a month ago.

Eventually I got to the window and ordered. The entire time the employee forced conversation for the 7 minutes it was being made but I got my coffee.It isn't bad, I really enjoy the smoothness and the hot chocolate mix they had. That's the only reason I'm giving a star at all. Prices aren't too excessive.

Last thing that bothered me was the compensation. $8 for these employees, with the cost of living today that's pathetic. They may get tips but their paychecks will never be consistent due to that. PAY YOUR WORKERS MORE. The Wage war is running strong, I hope changes are made.

First time Experience:

Got to the drive through, no menu presented but asked to place the order, this isn’t their mistake but makes the experience not the best. The drive through attendant was friendly and gave me enough time to look at the menu. After placing the order, I was asked if I wanted to tip, not necessarily what I want to hear at a drive through, not tipping makes me feel like a bad person, but placing the moral obligation of tipping at a drive through makes the experience less desirable. After placing the order, the speed was moderate, definitely think this could have been a little speedier. The window attendant was friendly. The coffee was good, so no complaints here. I will come back because the prices were fair for the taste...

The place is nice and the people that make the drinks are nice and good at it but I’m giving it a one star because today there was only one girl (a brunette) working alone in the place and the other girls (blonde ones) were outside chatting I suppose it was their break not sure but when one of them came inside instead of helping her co worker get more ice like she asked she made her (the brunette) cry and told her “right now” I hope whoever is the manager of this specific DutchBros does something, because I’ve been coming to this dutchbros for a long time and that girl (the brunette) is so fast and you can tell she’s so hard working and she just doesn’t deserve these two blonde girls to be so mean instead of helping...
