I want to personal thank Chris Plopper and his crew. Last year I was looking for a mattress. I couldn’t find the right one that fits my needs and I’m like most people that don’t want to be bothered when shopping around. I am not educated on this matter but I decided to look for a mattress here at Village Mattress in Lebanon, IN. The experience I had was extremely amazing. Chris noticed that I was looking and started asking me what I was looking for. He educated me on the different types of mattresses and asked me questions that no one really asked me before. For an example, are you a side sleeper or do you sleep on your back or on your front? After answering him about being a side sleeper he showed me all his beds that are comfortable with people sleeping on your side. I will tell you I had the best experience. Chris and his crew are the best at what they do. Have any questions on mattresses they have the answer and if they don’t they are not afraid to say I will get back with you on that. Love my couch and the delivery crew was great, but some of the non-owner employees exhibit poor communication and customer relation skills. She debated with me over the phone when I called and because she was unclear I had to call the store twice. In addition, I was frustrated after I bought a $189.00 pillow from her and decided to return it. The pillow was unopened, untouched and in the original packaging, but when I attempted to return it she said I could not return the pillow. She suggested I ask the owner at a later date when he was in the store. I did that and he confirmed a no return policy for pillows. I would NOT have purchased any product from her had she informed me I could NOT return it. I saw no posting of a “no return” policy for pillows at the store either. Came in from out of town to get a New mattress for my mom. I know I could have done this on line, but I wanted to ensure a smooth process. The team at Village Mattress could not have been more professional and personable. The quality of their selection is fantastic. Even the least pricey selection is of superb quality. I was not made to feel bad because I was asking for their more affordable choices. The process was unhurried with their complete attention, and no question was too silly or small.
