I have never eaten here. So I can't judge the food. From the sounds of the guests appreciation I would guess the food is good. Outside of that, the customer service seemed impersonal and rude and honestly in my case prejudice. I am a 30 yr old light skinned african american woman. on January 26, 2019 around 5:45 pm I was picking up an order for doordash. I walked in and was first in line to pick up. There was no greeting or eye contact. They looked right past me. Another oriental American walked in behind me and they and as soon as she walked up, they greeted With a " Hello, Are you picking up an order?" She paid and got her order and left. 2 More gentlemen walked and was welcomed with the same greeting. Again no hello to me. I looked them at their eyes and they avoided contact. I am a non connfrontational person and give respect but this felt very disrespectful and rude and was singled out. Once the guys were answered she acknowledged me and said with an attitude did I have an order and I said yeah. She threw it down on the counter while getting the second half of the order and never once said that It was my order until she handed both to me. There was no " Have a nice day" or anything. Read moreDO NOT GO HERE!! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. In all honesty, the food is good. The service, without exaggeration, is the worst I've ever had. I live right around the corner, so it's been the easiest place to go get sushi and partially why I've given them so many chances. Twice I've had things forgotten from my take out order. Never have they offered to comp it, or even offer a free dessert or appetizer. On the contrary. They look at you cross eyed when you ask for another soy sauce or chop sticks instead. Tonight was the last straw. We went to eat there for the first time. My wife and I ordered an app and 2 entrees. Took a while for the app to come, but okay. My meal came with a soup and a salad, both of which I didn't get. I reminded the waitress, who then checked her check pad (remember this part, it'll be important later) and promptly apologized and brought them out. My wifes entree arrived and I continued to wait for my sushi as others got theirs. I finally asked the manager, after having been at the restaurant for almost an hour, to check on my entree. When she returned she said IT HADN'T BEEN PUT IN THE COMPUTER! AFTER I ASKED THE WAITRESS!! AFTER AN HOUR OF SITTING THERE!! And after all this, still nothing more than an apology. The second to last time going there, my family ordered two separate things of sushi, and both were put together in the same container. I wouldn’t have cared much, but I’m very allergic to shrimp which is what one of the sushi orders had. I asked the lady working to see if it could be remade because I wasn’t trying for a hospital trip and she was extremely rude about it. That didn’t sit right with me at all, but my family and I decided to give it another try. So the last time was the final decision to never go back as one of our food orders wasn’t even given to us. If the weather hadn’t turned for the worse, I would’ve went back instantly for a refund for that meal, so I hope they enjoy a free $10-ish “tip”.
