If I could give zero stars I would. I have never received poorer service. Ordered take out online at 5:30pm, was notified the order was ready for pick up at 6:15pm. Got to the restaurant at 6:20pm and was told it wasn’t ready and they would call me. The hostess asked me to leave and come back when she called but it was raining and I had my son with me and we couldn’t find parking. She was very rude about us waiting inside the restaurant bc they were busy. No one ever checked on our order. When I asked her If she could check and give me an ETA she was very sarcastic, didn’t check, and said “40 minutes.” We waited until 7:15pm and then had to leave because my husband was supposed to be at work at 7. Would have left sooner but the food was already paid for. I was told I couldn’t get my money back because I ordered online. When I pulled up the online order to report an issue it redirected me to the restaurant and the same hostess. At this point it’s 8:30. She would not get anyone else for me to talk to. She told me I could not get a refund and that I was too late to come back and get my food.

I am baffled. You order food, you pay for it, you get it…right?!

Stop taking door dash orders, clearly can’t handle the business. Four other people were there at the same time with the same type of issue. One guy had ordered his takeout right there on the spot and had been waiting 90 minutes. She refused to give him a refund either.

Absolutely ridiculous. Would never happen...

Service was a bit subpar and unfriendly. We had a gift certificate and were asked where "the other half was." We informed our server that the part we had was all we were given (and it had the amount, the issue date, and employee initials). I asked to see an example of the missing half and it was just a picture of the restaurant, nothing specific or valuable. She reluctantly still allowed us to use it but demanded the next time that we bring both parts. Maybe she was just having an off day because she was generally grouchy and left our drinks unfilled. Nice little spot in Boone village. The food is really special; the service is very good and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Update: lowered our review after ordering a fajita for delivery with bell pepper, onion tomato and steak but got a flavorless steak-only burrito (see photo). Called and asked for a replacement and offered to drive and pick it up. Was only willing to give us a side of peppers!

Updating again: 2nd round of bad service and food from this restaurant. Unfortunate that the management does not desire to rectify...
