Our visit to Evans Orchard and Cider Mill was nothing short of incredible! We had the opportunity to pick our own strawberries, creating cherished memories with our loved ones. The boys were overjoyed as they played to their heart's content on the enormous playground, which added an extra dose of excitement to our day.
One of the absolute highlights was when my husband got the chance to pet the adorable baby highland cow at the petting zoo. It was truly the cutest thing we've ever seen! And that's not all – the petting zoo also featured charming cows, goats, and bunnies, making it a memorable and heartwarming experience for the whole family.
To satisfy our cravings, we made a stop at the café, and it was a delightful culinary experience. The treats were simply scrumptious, leaving us wanting more. We couldn't resist exploring their storefront and ended up bringing home some of their homemade goodies like strawberry preserves, apple cider donuts, and fried apple pies. Each bite was a true delight!
Evans Orchard and Cider Mill provided us with a memorable day filled with fun, flavors, and friendly staff. If you're looking for a charming and delicious adventure, this is the place to be!

I can't even begin to express how amazing this place is... I will try my best though, but again understand that this place should get unlimited stars because 5 doesn't justify how AMAZING this place is. Let's start with Reese who by far is the nicest person I've ever met. My best friend called a few weeks ago wanting to plan a surprise proposal for his girlfriend. Reese immediately told him to come out and check out the place and he would help with whatever he could. Evan's Orchard didn't charge him a penny to setup and basically gave us creative control to decorate however we pleased. Reese picked me and my wife up in a golf cart when we arrived and drove us to the spot to decorate. Again, this couldn't have been done without the help of Reese(you're the real MVP). Everything was absolutely perfect that day, the weather, the sunflowers, the wild flowers, the champagne, the kettle corn, EVERYTHING! This place is a gem!

Found this place in the fall and quickly fell in love. This little farm stand is HUGE! Might have given a review last fall, so apologies if I'm reviewing twice. Just thought we'd drive up and see what fruits they have and found them had strawberry and blueberry picking. They actually closed blueberry picking temporarily due to being over picked, but we had a ball walking through and picking fresh strawberries! Enjoyed a cider float before we picked strawberries. The strawberries just melt in your mouth, they are so perfectly sweet and ripe! Can't wait to go back this fall and experience the apple picking and getting some pumpkins! This place is a must any time of year. Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention, the kids will love their massive play area and the tractor rides. Don't have any little ones but know if I did they would never want to leave the play area! Heck, I wanna play on it myself!!!

Great farm hidden away in the beautiful rolling hills of Kentucky. It appears to be a very popular spot with scenic wedding photos, professional family photos and all sorts of events. Even with a lot of folks in possession of some very expensive camera equipment, it's still a great place to visit for an afternoon with family or significant others. All of the staff was very friendly and courteous, the fried apple pie is AWESOME and so is their steak sandwich. My fiance and I drove down from northern Kentucky to take in the massive sunflower fields and we weren't disappointed. There are tons of picture worthy areas all around, a market where you can purchase home grown produce, homemade jams, sauces, preserves and did I mention...fried apple pie!! It was a fun day trip for us and I can see us making a trip back there in the future.

Evans Apple Orchard is a great place to visit for families and adults alike. They have a wide variety of apples to pick, as well as pumpkins, gourds, and other fall produce. There is also a large play area for kids, a cider mill, and a store where you can buy apple cider, apple butter, fudge, and other delicious treats.
The staff at Evans Apple Orchard are friendly and helpful. They are always willing to answer questions and help you find the perfect apples. The prices are reasonable, and the quality of the produce is excellent.
I would highly recommend Evans Apple Orchard to anyone looking for a fun and family-friendly fall activity. It is a great place to spend an afternoon picking apples, enjoying the fall weather, and making memories that will last a lifetime.

We had a good time here. It’s a Japanese-style garden built out of friendship between Japan and Georgetown.
Came to explore it; some of the girls rode bikes, and one brought rollerblades. Before arriving, we didn’t realize the trails were covered in pea gravel, so it wasn’t exactly conducive to biking, and rollerblading was impossible. Once we figured that out, we had a lovely jaunt along the trails. It was practically empty of visitors; one other car was in the lot while we were there, and we might’ve seen its owner from a distance, but we never met another park-goer on the paths.
This is a garden with a pond and trails you can walk around. We didn’t see a bathroom, but there were some buildings; one looked like an event center and the other seemed like it housed the gardening supplies.
This seemed like a great place to come if you’re feeling contemplative and want to quietly gaze into a serene pond, or if you need some lush scenery for a photography session. I’ll come back, but maybe without the kids next time.

Firmly, do not go. Ever since I first moved to Kentucky two years ago, I saw Yuko-en Garden mentioned in various Kentucky promotional material (plus saw Georgetown's "historic downtown" on signs from the interstate). Finally made it to the garden and before even driving in, I noticed geese near the river on the opposite side of the street from the garden stood around in puddles rather than the river itself. (It's not a good sign when an animal that normally likes water won't go in it.) First thing stepping outside the car at the gardens, we were hit by a stench. The garden itself (the size, scenery, upkeep) was not worth the trip, but the stench was god awful. Come to find out they built it right next to the Georgetown sewage treatment plant! Kind of insulting to the Japanese!!! Not worth a visit.

Very pretty and serene place. Plenty of benches to stop and sit. There were a few visitors at the same time and my son and I, but it wasn't overrun. The building wasn't rented, but it looked spacious. There were bathrooms inside, but I'm assuming only for if you've rented it out. Gravel trail to follow, so definitely no chance of getting lost. There was an unfortunate odor coming from the nearby river, which I know can't be helped, but with the heat (over 90°), it was pretty intense. Even still, it was a nice walk. My son and I were disappointed to not see a single Koi fish, but agreed that the wisteria native to Japan they have wrapping around the posts was very cool!

This park has gravel pathway for easy walking. There were benches within park. I kind of wish there was more benches around pond area so you can enjoy watching geese swim and koi fish coming up to surface. However, there is one by the edge of the pond.
There were two pretty foot bridges and a zen garden. There were also some statues throughout that were nice to observe. The park has two waterfalls to enjoy. It was definitely a nice place to visit for a short walk!

This is a unique local spot along the Elkhorn creek with a good sized event space. It has redbuds in place of cherry trees to try to replicate a peaceful Japanese garden. When we were there we didnt see any koi in the ponds and there was a strong sulphur smell from the nearby water treatment. Still there was a small trail to walk that goes under US25 and to the fishing area above the dam.
