We had my nephew's bday party here and the concession stand is seperate from the park it's rented out. Now the actual park is nice and the kids had fun there isn't a hole lot to do but it's nice. Now the people that ran the concessions was kind of ridiculous. They let us keep the cake and ice cream we bought and brought in their fridge and freezer.. when we went to do the cake someone had opened one of our packs of the individual cups of ice cream which my sister had got the expensive m&m individual cups and they took one. When my sister asked why it was opened and one was missing none of them had a clue. When they first gave her our stuff they didn't bring the open bag and she told them there was one missing and the boy went and got another person and had them bring her the open bag. That person proceeded to tell my sister that they had no idea what happened don't know if someone sold the cup to a customer or if someone had ate it their selves. It was a little crazy and my sister was frustrated plus my mom had ordered pizza from dominos but she also told concession that she wanted 10 hot dogs as well they told her ok and for 10 minutes we thought they were getting them my mom went to ask how much longer that's when they decided to tell her they didn't have any... It was crazy. But I will say like I said before the concession is rented out so it's not part of the actual park and the park is nice the lifeguards are nice. It's enjoyable...
Read moreHorribly managed. The director of this facility could greatly benefit from visiting other places to learn how to manage this type of park. So where should I start. The life guards walk around like they were paying attention but you could see they really were not. The life guard would not allow our daughter to use her own tube in the lazy river. They only have one size and the tube are simply too large for kids who are petite. Instead they would rather force you to use a tube that doesn't fit. What's the big deal. It's apparently safer to be a tube that's too large. Poor management insight. Next, there was a slight rumble of thunder in distance. So they called 30 minute break to keep eye on weather. No big deal right. But getting out of the pool isn't enough. They force 100 people into this very small breazeway. What is the purpose? Safety, one would think. Can't be! There was small children tired of standing lying in the floor. My guess is if the weather really got ugly and any bit of panic took place you would have a lot of children getting stepped on. So the park is a little small but nice overall. The park management just doesn't seem to know what there doing. The kids fountain play area didn't work half the time. They would call a 15 minute break and it would shut off. When the break ended it was like they would forget to turn it back on. I hope they read this and do some self examination. The Manger either needs replaced or...
Read moreSerious issues with this facility. The lifeguard staff is untrained and unsafe. They don't pay attention to young children at all. My 4 year old was playing in the kids area (with my nearby) and walked over to a lifeguard. I had told my daughter she couldn't do the waterslide (Not tall enough and still learning to swim) even though she really wanted to. While she was playing she asked the lifeguard, who told her not with a vest on. Then she WATCHED as my daughter took it off and went running for the Waterslide. I ran as fast as I could to get her, and did very quickly. My daughter was not in danger, but the lifeguard staff proved they could not keep children safe, and do not pay attention. My daughter RAN past two lifeguards with no one saying a word.
In the end I caught her, scolded her, and we left. It's her fault for not listening and both running and going to do something she can't do, but she was a young child at the time. It's the lifeguards job to help ensure this doesn't happen and pay attention. Completely unprofessional. Do not trust the staff and pay very close attention to your children like I did. The lifeguards...
