My husband and I chose Atkins Farms to provide both our flowers and wedding cake/donuts for our wedding day and we are so so happy with how everything came out. When I found Atkins Farms I knew quickly that I wanted them to be a part of our day. Sarah from the flower shop worked with me to create a color palette and choose flowers that perfectly complimented my dress, the bridesmaids' dresses and the venue. When I saw the flowers the morning of, I was blown away by how beautiful they were. She nailed the vision way better than I could have even imagined! As for the bakery, they were so easy to work with and to order our wedding cake. We had a simple order, but they made it look beautiful and taste SO good. We ordered A LOT of their famous apple cider donuts for wedding favors and they were a hit!! I am so glad my sister thought to save us a few because the rest were gone before the night was done. I am so happy we went with Atkins Farms for both our flower and bakery vendor and would recommend them to any other couple looking for affordable, beautiful and delicious details to their special day.

Staff is fantastic. Prices on anything other than produce are insulting. Everything frozen is over double the price of any other store. The entrance of the store is so poorly arranged that it takes 5 minutes to start shopping. Sad to see non chain stores installing self checkout. Your store is not big enough for self checkout. The employees were directing customers through the line to self checkout and i had 3 people rub up against me because the isle is so narrow. I have an idea....take all the money you save by not employing Americans with jobs and lower your absurd prices. Ver disappointing for a half hour drive. I won't be returning. Growing up, our yearly fall foliage outing was to drive to Atkins Farm for cider and cider donuts. Our parents would purchase a 50lb bag of potatoes for cold cellar storage for winter. We enjoyed a Cherry Danish and Orange Cream Milk from nearby Mapleline Farms in Hadley, Ma. Atkins has a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, cheese, condoment sauces, bakery, beer, wine, and chocolates. From soup to nuts, you can get a sandwich at the deli counter and enjoy eating at their dining area. Sign up for their rewards program. Visit Atkins. They dont disappoint and their staff is helpful and friendly. 🍎 🍩 🥛 🧋 ☕️

Atkins, you do a lot of things right (vegetables, donuts, wonderful people-looking at you, Snookie) but one area you often lack in is your made to order sandwiches. It's so hit or miss. Today's BLT with avacado, for example, was a miss. This is not the first disappointing BLT you have made me, either. There is almost nothing between the bread. One slice of tomato, a teaspoon of avacado. I know you're busy (you're always busy) and this sandwich is evidence that rushing doesn't do anyone any good. Please, slow down. Do better. Make a sandwich YOU'D want to get if YOU were paying $7.00.

Wow, do I wish I lived in the area! Stopped in for lunch on a recommendation from the Carle Museum and was surprised at the size and scope. Local and organic when possible. Everything was vibrant and green, indoors and out. Sandwiches were large and reasonably priced and we reluctantly skipped their bakery which people were raving about. On the way to the car, however, we couldn't skip their outdoor ice cream walk-up window. This is a single scoop. The chunk chocolate mousse with raspberry which may be the best ice cream I've ever had. Completely pleasant experience.

Fun place. There is mini paddle boats $8 for 30min., a life guard is on canoe on watch just in case and they also provide life jackets if you desire, about 4 people can enter in it but only 2 paddle the boat which moves about 5mph, the pond is pretty big and I saw a big turtle there. There is a mini golf course $6 for 18 holes, different sizes of golf clubs, nice garden area. There is a train ride about 3 per person, it moves about 5mph around a small piece of the park which takes about 8min. to go around. There's a small zoo which is free, and you can spot deer, goat, hawk, vulture, pheasant, owl, turkey, peacock, chicken and rabbit, and you could feed geese, deer and goat corn from a machine (0.50¢ required). Every Wednesday the boat ride, train ride and mini golf are half price. There is also several tennis courts, basketball courts, river to swim in, children playgrounds, children area to get wet, volleyball nets, etc. Good place for sports, walks, bike, picnicking, swimming, and stuff. Mini food restaurant, public restrooms. Public grills. Able to reserve a spot (good for holidays) or you could just show up at the park as well. The fee to enter was $7.

Had our wedding at the Garden House and it was absolutely perfect. Unfortunately due to some last minute rain we weren't able to have our ceremony at the Pines Theater but the site coordinator Angela was able to arrange for us to still have a beautiful ceremony under the tent next to the Garden house.
And speaking of Angela, she was AMAZING, gave us great vendor recommendations, worked with us every step of the way and went out of her way to make sure we had an amazing night. We truly felt that she was invested in our wedding as we were.
The prices are very fair for what you get - this is a beautiful venue in a beautiful park - and go towards supporting a great non-profit. Would highly recommend getting married at the Garden House, and if you're not in the market to get married then still come to Look Park, it's a beautiful highlight of the Florence community.

The park was beautiful especially when it’s not busy, there was a lot of things to do so I tried to do lots for them to get a idea of the park. First thing I noticed is a lot of walking and bike trails also dog poop bag dispensers. The first thing I did was the small animal zoo, I want to make this clear they animals here can’t survive in the wild and they are taking care of vary good. The next thing I did was go on the train it was fun, little ones will love it, 2 and under are free but anything above is 5$ per person. Next thing I did was the mini golf, it was fun not much to say about it though. What I don’t like about the park is everything is to expensive but other then that it is a fun place to go and have a nice time.

Breakfast on weekends is such an enjoyable meal for me. I prefer the hole in the wall dirty spoons. It just seems to me that so much love is put into the food. Everything just has more flavor than the chain spots. I have heard of this diner for some time now and about a month ago finally made it. It has now been three times that we have had breakfast here and between the staff, the ambience, and the food I must say that this is my favorite place to have breakfast. Being a historian buff this places history alone is worth coming in and supporting. The Miss Florence was opened in 1941 by Maurice Alexander and his wife, Pauline Florence Alexander. In April of 2018, the diner was lovingly acquired by the new owner, Ms. Georgianna Brunton and she hustles! I have watched juggle staff, patrons and dish after dish after dish and she always has a smile. I applaud her drive.
On her website she is says, “Our mission is to serve the community and surrounding neighborhood through offering breakfast and lunch in a warm, welcoming and entirely unique 1940’s diner atmosphere. Being one of the oldest diners in the United States, we take pride in stewarding Miss Florence Diner into the future, while still retaining the nostalgic charm of a genuine diner from the 1940’s. We pride ourselves on offering tasty food and top notch service seven days a week!” - Georgianna, Owner
If you are in Florence or actually anywhere (we come up from Fairfield county) stop by and enjoy their food, atmosphere and go back in time!

I'm a big fan of diners, especially the classic sort, so a few years ago on my way back from VT, when I was looking for a place to grab lunch, I found Miss Florence.
It has everything I love about a classic diner. The booths have jukeboxes, the diner itself is an old train car, and it still has a lovely vintage feel to it.
I'm typically a breakfast girl, so I've pretty much stuck with getting eggs. I've eaten here multiple times over the years, and the food is always consistent.
The scrambled eggs are on the fluffier side. The home fries are well spiced and crispy but soft. The toast is nicely toasted and well buttered.
My kids get fries, bacon, and pancakes. From the photo, you can see the pancake is ENORMOUS. I've sampled it, and it's a perfect buttermilk pancake, nice and fluffy and very tasty.
The fries are a huge portion, always cooked to perfection. If you love crispy bacon, you'll love the bacon here.
Additionally, in the past, we've had the burger, and it was delicious as well.
Service has always been very good, though it can take a minute if you come through during rush times as the place gets crowded. It's absolutely worth the wait, though.
I can't say I have any complaints beyond having had to wait in the past at lunchtime on a Sunday.

Miss Florence Diner is a hidden gem with absolutely incredible food – hands down the best I've had. The grilled cornbread sausage 'n' gravy and banana bread French toast were standout options that left my taste buds in awe. The nostalgic touch of old-time jukeboxes at the tables added a charming vibe, and the waitress was not just the best but also friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. If you're a food enthusiast looking for a delightful and flavorful meal, this diner is a must-visit.

Small, cute little Diner. Delicious Coffee. Chicken fried steak to die for, very juicy. My over easy eggs were cooked to perfection. We also ordered Pumpkin Spice Pancakes (Seasonal). You are given the choice of how many... I should have asked, "how big are they?" I ordered two 🤦 !!! One pancake is the size of Texas! Lol. Wasted a whole pancake and a half. My daughter and I shared 1/2 a pancake!!! Other than that, we really enjoyed the food, service and friendly smiles! I would recommend it for sure!

Went in for dinner tonight ! Dinner is only monday-wednesday nights, but it was a great choice! Our server was knowledgeable and extremely pleasant, anticipated our needs! We had 3 entrees, large portions, roast turkey dinner, chicken parm dinner and chicken fried steak !!! Enough for lunch and dinner the next day ! And don't forget to get yourself a slice of blueberry pie ! Georgie, the owner, is a fabulous hostess to her guests at the diner !
