I had a horrible experience at this venue last night… I arrived with a band playing that night along with a bunch of friends, many of us opened up a tab including myself, karey didn’t even take my id or credit card to hold the tab even though i offered as that’s usually normal procedure for having an open tab. Instead karey chased me down multiple times concerned with the price of my bill. Seeming like he was worried that I couldn’t afford the food and beverages I had been ordering all night. My aunt even went to the bar at one point to tell them not to worry about mu tab. Many other people I was with also had an open tab and they weren’t getting harassed all night about their bills including my aunt and uncle. He even came outside looking for me when I was having a cigarette to check I was still there… why would I leave without paying my bill when my friends and family were still enjoying the establishment? Very weird….I asked him if he thought that I left without paying my tab and he responded saying “no but a lot of people do that here” okay so why didn’t you take my id or credit card if that happens in your establishment? When we went back up to the bar once we came in after he was looking for me, my aunt said “if it makes you feel better we can pay our tab and start a new one” and karey said “no it’s okay” so we continued on. When I went back to the bar for my next drink a short blonde lady wearing a beanie said very rudely “can you just pay your tab for his peace of mind” and pointed towards karey. I began to get frustrated and told her that we just offered to. I of course payed my bill that was 180$, I didn’t even want to tip at this point but as an hospitality worker myself I felt inclined to tip and I tipped over $70 on my bill. (Big regrets on that this morning, 15% would have been more then enough for the service I received) a few minutes later that lady walked up to me and said “I appreciate you” and I responded that “I honestly don’t appreciate her” and walked away. She then said to my aunt “we have all been drinking and I don’t know” and sounded like she didn’t know what was going on since she had too many alcoholic beverages. I went to karey for one more round at the bar before leaving and she came around and grabbed my arm and said “am I the problem?” i thought that was quite inappropriate, you don’t just go and grab someone’s arm after offending them all evening. Very unprofessional. I should have spent my money elsewhere. Not once did anyone apologize to me. They totally could have even played it off like they didn’t think I could afford my bill by saying something like “after the bills over _______ amount we need to close it and start a new one” or just coming over and asking for my id or card. But instead they made my celebratory night out awful for no reason. The pizza was also awful along with the other food we ordered however the wings were great.

Pizza wasn't my favorite until I tried the honey pesto (it single handedly redeemed this review). Staff are friendly and attentive. It's nice to have a venue for bands to play here in Lethbridge. Love the music but the sound guy could do better. Overall it's fun and I end up going back for the shows and the people.

I play guitar in Revolution Engine and we started off a five day mini-tour through Alberta here tonight. FANTASTIC PIZZA!!! Great vibes, great service. Highly recommended for food, drinks, and live music!

My friend and I were downtown and looking for a local pizza joint to eat a casual dinner at catch up with each other. What looks like a restaurant from the outside is actually a run down, dirty dive bar with a stage. We were starving so we ordered the traditional pizza. The crust was terrible. It appeared to be a pre made frozen crust that they added very few topping too. Each slice of pizza had one green pepper slice and one sausage crumple. There was no visible cheese at all on the pizza. When you bit into the crust. It was so dry it just crumbled into pieces. It was bazaar to say the least. That was the best part of our experience. A band started to play after we ordered and it was so loud, our table shook and our eardrums throbbed in pain. No visiting could be had. We had one slice of pizza and left as fast as we could. Absolutely terrible “restaurant...

Slice is a beautiful bar, that allows local talent to shine their skills, with musical instruments, when there isn't tons of talent from around the world, popping through, they have nights where, anyone who can keep a rythm, can get on up, and try their hands, for the sake of the jam! Maybe even feel the strength and shield, of a band, one day, who knows? Doesn't matter if you aren't up to show off, they still have a kitchen, if your just looking to eat, in a nice setting, with positive people, and staff. Thank you for keeping this...
