Overall unimpressive. We started our meal by being told that 3 of the 16-or-so options were not available, all of which were vegetarian options, meaning that for some of my friends the choice was very limited. We soldiered on, however, and ordered our food and drinks. I will be fair to them - the food that they brought was generally good, I had the bifstek vienez which was tasty, and my friends said their food was nice too. The only complaint with the food that arrived was that the fries were cold. The caveat there being that we can only speak about the food that arrived - in yet another bout of misfortune, one of the plates my vegetarian friends ordered did not arrive for a long time - at least half an hour, if not more. When pressed, the waiter said "Oh," followed by "We're out of that too". We also waited a ludicrous amount of time for two caraffes of the house wine - I had the red, which was tasty, and am told I was lucky to avoid the white.
The cherry on top of this macabre cake is that when the bill arrived, the dish that had not arrived was still counted. We decided not to raise it, and simply subtracted that ourselves, paying for the food we had had. We were then rather struck by the audacity of the waiter coming up to tell us we had underpaid by 400 lek (the price of the dish that had not arrived). We told him this was no mistake, and he made a rather hasty embarrassed retreat.
Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant, especially not for vegetarians or vegans, but if you do end up going here I'd recommend looking for a table in a place with lots of through-traffic, so you can at least try to catch you waiter's attention every 15 minutes or so to see whereabouts your food and drink...
Read moreWe rather found this restaurant by chance, as one top-choice in those small alleyways was already booked out. Unfortunately no place for us on the terrace, but inside would do. It actually looks like on those many pictures, so we have nothing to add to this. We arrived and found a place right in the corner at the windows. Good view between the houses!
Waiter seemed a bit overwhelmed by serving the whole room alone and, considering the stairs up from the kitchen, we understood his struggle. But nothing bad.
We ordered two bottles of water (0,5), 0,5 of house wine, a mixed salad and two main dishes. The two bottles of water of 0,5 were actually a less expensive option than choosing one 0,75 bottle, which doesn‘t make a lot of sense if you don’t factor in that two single bottle might warm up a littlleee faster. Whatever. House wine was GREAT, we didn‘t expect this for only 1.000 LEK per liter. And it continued like this. Salad came with bread and, although it needed some salt, it tasted fresh and started us off for the main dishes. Stuffed eggplants and „meatball“ with fries were wonderful. The meatball was more a ground beef Schnitzel but still worth every LEK.
Overall super experience at a very reasonable price. Will come again.

Read moreWent with my partner and a be friend. The terrace itself is nice enough and the waiter was attentive. There was live music which was ok. The food was hugely disappointing. The presentation was unappealing and drab. We had stuffed aubergine which was tired looking though tasted good but the portion was tiny. We also ordered meatballs and potatoes. Mine were crisp to the point of being overcooked and not very tasty. The house red wine was good however. The exchange rate for euros was terrible so be careful. So many more possibilities for this below average restaurant - great locations benefit from good food where it is obvious that pride in the culinary offer is taken. This place has a long way to go and I couldn't recommend either of the...
