Very happy with my spinach byrek. Tasty and good portion for 50 lek. I regularly saw this place well attended by locals so wanted.to give it a go on my last day in Tirana

I couldn't believe some of the negative reviews posted on here (many come with folks with only one or very few posts so not sure about their motivation).

I visited this place today. The restaurant was ok but the byrek was very low quality. The ingridents were so cheap and not tasty that they almost made me puke. I tried the other place near this restaurant and god. I was shocked by the quality. It was like 1000 times better. I would visit...

A very nice byrek shop located on the back street of the hotel we stayed at. We had cheese and spinach byrek. It would be nice if tea was served with the byrek. If they also renovate the inside, it would be more advantageous than its competitors. Because the inside is big. There is...

The böreks were hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious! 🥰 Everything tasted homemade and full of flavor. It would be even better if they accepted credit cards, but overall, a great spot for a quick and tasty bite. Definitely worth a visit! 😋☕

Ci siamo fermati qui, per la nostra sosta del pranzo. Abbiamo assaggiato i primi burek della nostra vacanza albanese. Dopo svariati assaggi, possiamo dire che questi crediamo siano tra i più tradizionali, nonché molto buoni. Purtroppo, al nostro arrivo erano rimasti solo quelli al formaggio e quelli con la salsiccia (da specificare che all’interno ci fossero dei wrustel). I burek sono generalmente accompagnati da una sorta di bevanda allo yogurt leggermente più diluita. Io consiglierei l’assaggio con i burek alla carne, nonostante non mi abbia particolarmente entusiasmata, dato il sapore deciso e un po’ acidulo, ma comunque viaggiando bisogna sperimentare. Posto consigliato da persona locale.

Per ordinare spiego alla cassiera che voglio fare i due ordini separati, in modo da non confonderli. Dopo aver ordinato i primi byrek, la cassiera mi da lo scontrino in maniera sgarabata e poco affabile e non mi permette di ordinare i byrek per mia mamma 😡, che non potrà assaggiare questa tipica ricetta albanese. Il personale si dimostra molto scordiale e poco accogliente. I byrek costano poco, 50 lek al pezzo, ma l'impasto in certi punti è troppo molle, quasi acquoso e in altri troppo duro da mordere. I condimenti all'interno sono buoni, ma niente di che.
