Sky Hotel Tirana — Hotel in Tirana Municipality

We had very bad experience. First of all they gave us a single room with two single beds even though there was specifically a reservation made for 3 adults. They provided us a foldable bed which is used by the kids and asked us to adjust initially. I requested the hotel manager to provide us with another room where we could comfortably adjust but they only said hotel is running full and they cannot do anything instead they provided a mattress which turned out to be bigger than the frame it felt as thought Elephant was sitting on an ant seriously how can a small steel frame hold such an heavy mattress. I was literally tired of complaining and finally i had to put out the foldable bed and sleep on the floor just with mattress. The manger only gave us fake promises that some one will try to fix it and guess what no one turned up. Instead of Poor wifi connections i would say no WIFI connections on 14th floor they took us almost a day to fix it and eventually it did work on 2nd day. They did not replace the towels on daily basis and every time we had to call in to request for extra bath towels and instead of providing one they would question you why do you need an extra one i mean there are 3 people and how is it possible to adjust with two. Mirror in the bathroom was broken. The second room what we selected was for couple and instead of providing queen /king bed they provided two single beds in two different corners. The only good thing was the lady on the second shift was very nice she did try helping with basic things but over all it was a bad experience and the hotel did...

To be clear, this review relates to the Sky Tower attached to the hotel, not the hotel itself. It is free to go to the Sky Tower. The 1 star is because of the amazing views over Tirana and the Dajti Mountains in the background. We had the Sea and Earth Tapas. The food was awful, the chicken was overfried, so very dry and chewy. A few prawns on a piece of cold, soft toast doesn't cut it. It was absolutely awful and definitely the worst food we had in Tirana. The service was dreadful. We asked for a menu, and without speaking, the waiter pointed to the code on the table. You can not order from this. Just view the menu. Then you have to wait for the waiter to come back to thevtable to take the order. Despite not being busy, this took forever. Most of the transaction was done in complete silence by the waiter.
