Lissus Fish — Restaurant in Tirana Municipality

Saw a lot of great reviews of this place. However, we found the place doesn't matches the 4.9 star ratings. We reached 15 minutes passed opening time, the restaurant wasn't ready for another 15 minutes. There was only 1 old waiter on duty, and nobody is there to sit us. So assume we pick a table and comfortably sitted, the waiter later then is quite rude to move us to another table. We obeyed thinking it will be packed during Saturday lunch time. The service is rather slow eventhough there's only 2 tables the whole time. The old waiter seemed rather unhappy with us, he 'forgotten' to serve our sorbet while the other table gotten complimentary sorbet with better treatment. The food is alright. Out of all the restaurants we've been in Tirana, this one had the worst service. Honestly speaking, the service doesn't quite match the dining experience from the moment...

Somehow this restaurant is famous in Chinese social media，however，it is highly over estimated，we ordered marinated octopus，sea bass carpaccio，tartar shrimp，all three with the same sause；the chef shall try different ingrediants，for example，using the local tomato（super tasty），fine chopped and mix with onion，garlic，olive oil，parsley，lemon，salt and peper；the sea bass shall use pesto oil or light soy sause with fried garlic，shrimp tartar was correct. A bad remark is that we asked 3 times using the sea bass we selected and the waiter promised 3 times，sadly they didn‘t. Other negative thing was that on the menu it says Tiger Prown，however，it was all with normal shrimps. Absolutely wonderful experience on our last day in Albania. The waiter was so kind to my kids, always smiling and interacting with them and the food was amazing! We even got free pickled anchovies as a starter, which my daughter adored, and at the end we got lemon sorbets on the house. Unbelievable kindness. We had sea bass tartare and carpaccio, sea food pasta, sea food risotto and a fresh skate. Apart from the risotto (I expected the italian arborio, but it was good all the same), all the food was delicious. After the meal, the waiter called us a taxi to the airport for a very cheap price.
