KOPE Steak House — Restaurant in Tirana Municipality

What a delicious meal, and some of the staff members were so upbeat and friendly, I even received a free Raki and hug. Definitely a place I'll be visiting each time I'm in Tirana (and I'll have to make that more often!). Very nice interior and outdoor seating. I can't wait to bring some friends here as this time I ate alone. I chose this place for its 5 star ratings but maybe even more importantly it was within walking distance to my accommodations. I got lucky with that. The ribeye steak was well seasoned and lightly cooked to perfection, very tender and moist with a bit of marbling 🤤 and the Kope roll, I should have ordered more than one! If I lived in Tirana it would be hard not to eat here everyday, but once a week for sure 👍 If you enjoy carne you gotta come here. It may seam pricey for some people, just save up for it as it is well worth it! This is the kind of place that makes one not like other restaurants as it sets the standards too high 😂 how I'll live the rest of my life without eating here daily 🤦‍♂️ 1st world 21 century struggles are real 😂

At first, I was suspicious. How can a restaurant - any restaurant - have a 5.0 rating? Must be fake, right? Wrong. This place is simply unreal. Just too good to be true. My wife and I shared the best rare Tomahawk of my life. The owner is a sommelier, and shared not only his excellent and very reasonable local wine recommendation, but incredible stories from Albanian history, up to Hungarian origins of duck breasts :) . The hamburgers were said to be just OK in another review - my kids wholeheartedly disagree - the burgers were excellent. Every single waiter we met was fun, courteous and had the tone and rapport established just right. Relaxed to the level of literally sharing shots with staff :) - and are same time upscale next level service - we talk Michelin star level here.
