Good location, Corner restaurant down the road from Skanderbeg Square. Outside seating if you want to smoke. Inside seating if you like smoke-free. The bruschetta was ok, French fries ok, the green salad tasted stale , like it wasn’t fresh or refrigerated. The Qofte was overcooked/ burnt. Fërgesë comes out burning hot , it helped with the taste. We ate at noon and the balsamic vinegar and olive oil dispenser bottle were so dirty and sticky ,like they weren’t cleaned in a week. The staff where surprisingly cold and not friendly. You usually get recommendations , try this is , it’s our specialty . It felt more like we where bothering them for being there. The bathroom is one stall for men and one stall for women, that’s it for the first floor . I loooked like they seat at least 75 people outside and inside seating and only 2 bathrooms stalls is surprising. The prices aren’t bad , but everything else was. Maybe you will have better luck....
Read morePlease do not go to this place. I went there with my wife because the atmosphere looked nice. We were caught by suprise… First of all, the food is terrible. When I wanted to go to the toilet I checked the bathroom which was a warzone. After consulting with my wife, we decided it was better for me to use the womens bathroom, which didnt seem like a problem as the restaurant was almost completely empty. The staff did not like this and chose to come knocking and shouting very violently to remove me from the toilet with the excuse that a pregnant woman needs to use it. Fysically removing customers from a toilet that is used for barely a minute because there are no other ones clean will never be acceptable. After they removed me, not a single women used the toilet, espescially not a pregnant one. Instead of working towards hospitality, they rather cover up their actions with...
Read moreIt's basically a tourist trap. Food is bland, lamb was basically just bone and grease, it tasted off, you can clearly see they select the worst cuts. Both of us got stomach problems lasting next day. Clearly visible they just want to cut corners as much as possible and make the most of it. We got recommended this place by our host in Tirana, but I think they just want to recommend the touristy restaurants as this is usually what tourists like for some reason, places which are created specifically for them. We wanted to eat where people from Tirana go to themselves and this one is definitely not one of these places, shame we didn't have more time to look for, but all the street is basically filled with touristy places so don't bother to...
