The Best Place to eat in Tirana! The best place to eat in Albania! We have been travelling throughout Europe, from Scotland, and have been living in Albania for 4 months. We have been in Tirana for 3 months. At first, to be honest, we could not find many great places to eat but then we found OPA at the Arena Stadium! It became our regular place to eat lunch, dinner or both! The service is excellent from the extremely friendly and helpful staff, the Greek-style food is excellent and the portion sizes and costs are fantastic value! We especially recommend the Schnitzel and Kebab Pitas, the Pita or Skewer bowls, the Gyros plates, the fries with chicken, the Greek, avocado and Caesar salads are all fresh and magnificent too. We tried everything on the menu! Oh and you absolutely must try their hot chocolate drinks… they are the best!

The atmosphere is always good, the choice of music is excellent and the staff are always welcoming and happy… and smiling. We always looked forward to the welcome we received there.

We cannot understand the rating of 3.9 or 4.0 for this place? We must’ve visited 40 or 50 times and this place always scored a 5.0 for us. Please ignore the low ratings… I noticed they tended to be about deliveries arriving late or cold. We never had a delivery from OPA.

As we recommence our travels around Europe…. Another final word about the staff! We will miss them very much and hope to see them again when we revisit Tirana in the future. We hope we don’t forget too many of the staff’s names but a huge ‘Thank You’ to Xhulio, Fjori, Pirro, Leonardo, Bora ‘Snow White’, Entela, Eris, Xhoenda, Anxhela, Irena, Klevisa and everyone at OPA (Stadium) for making our time in Tirana so memorable!!
