My mum and brother came to visit me for my birthday and wanted to buy me a little gift as an extra to my main one. They bought an Aeropress from Full City that had no price on it but my brother assumed it would be similar to the cost back home.
When he checked the receipt he realised it was 38,000 pesos (4 times the UK cost) so requested to return it and was refused. The girl serving said she'd go and speak to the manager and came back to say they couldn't but to come back when the owner was there.
We went back and the exact same waitress then lied to our faces saying she was the manager and that refunds were impossible because we paid with credit card. We pointed out that we paid with debit card, so she then told us that the debit card had acted like a credit card and it's impossible to do refunds in Argentina. The item hadn't even been removed from the box.
We had acknowledged it was my brother's mistake not to check the price but it was an honest mistake and we'd been in to buy coffees two days in a row before. To have a smirking, arrogant liar tell you that it's impossible to refund something was a horrible, unexpected experience.
They eventually offered to take back the item, but rather than a refund give my brother and mother a voucher for coffees to spend in the shop. Abject...
Read moreTL;DR; Can be a gem, but needs some attention. Breakfast options (American for 8k ARS) is pretty good and coffee's are awesome. It's not the food that needs attention.. The staff is hanging at the bar being bored and messaging or playing games on their phone. Doesn't look very professional, and they could use their free time to check up on you if you need something else. But they have more attention for their phones and they look bored. The waiter closed the door on my request fortunately. We moved upstairs, it was a bit warmer there. We were long without drinks and we would have liked to order but we just left instead. Comon Full City, you have the possibility to be a gem, but you just need to give a bit more passion. Sidenote; we came on a Monday, so it might have been a typical Monday for...
Read moreThey have great coffee! This place just can't figure out who they want in their coffee shop. The food is okay but the coffee is why people return. The service is hit or miss. I used to meet clients there regularly because the coffee was so good. The owner onced asked me to only meet with my clients outside on the patio which is always the wrong temperature and has worse waitstaff service than inside. (Also, as a customer I should be able to choose where to sit, right???) We stopped going there because they obviously want tourists and customers who buy food over anything else. And, we once waited 1 hour for orange juice to be prepared. So, I was a regular who came at least once a week for months. I used to gift bags of their coffee to family and friends. But, I've now said...
