This place is interesting…. It reminds me of when Donald Trump was first elected in the United States and many universities opened dedicated “crying rooms” to help coddle the soft snowflakes. The inside feels like one of those crying rooms. Now don’t get me wrong, it’s aesthetically beautiful inside. But I also have an incredible urge to go full Lt. Col. Frank Slade mode and “take a flame thrower to this place!” in order to protect my dignity as a man. (Movie quote from Scent of a Woman)
The lady who served me was very friendly and kind and spoke English to me, so that was good. I took her recommendation for an eggplant sandwich, which I’m not overly excited about but hey, I’m starving, so it’ll have to do. Kind of hard to mess up vegetables 🤷🏼♂️ All in all, after this “holistic” experience full of “gratitude”, “light” and “positivity” I’ll need to detox with a massive dose of heavy metal death music and a 4 hour CrossFit gym session led by 4 of the baddest, meanest, marine corp drill instructors you can find.
*Update: eggplant sandwich was pretty good. Still going to need the detox...
Read moreThe place is really beautiful, airy and with a calming atmosphere. A calm which you will need when waiting for your order.... This might be a paradise for people obsessed with super healthy and 100% natural food, but that comes at the price of dishes being so bland as to be almost tasteless. I ordered a croissant and waited for so long that I was wondering if they went to Paris to get it. When it finally arrived its poor quality confirmed to me that, indeed, that had not gone to France to get it. It all leaves you with the bitter taste of what could have been a most pleasant experience, but it is not (if you like...
Read moreI love their food here. I’m only giving them a 4 star because it’s such a health conscious place, yet they only have a few gluten free options. The gluten free options are really tasty and I’ve eaten here 4 times already. Yet, in such a health focused place, they could easily have a gluten free option of many of the dishes that they offer. If they did a gluten free bread or gluten free option for all the dishes that have gluten, they could hit a much bigger audience and also be healthier. I love this place, I love the environment, super tasty healthy food, I only wish they had gluten free options for many of the dishes. There are many restaurants that have gluten free options for similar dishes that this place offers so they could do it! I hope in the future they do it, so I can give them 10...
