Me and my friends had a very disappointing experience here. The place is nice and the setting makes you think you are going to get really good Japanese food. Well, if after reading this you still want to try, I suggests you only order nigiri and maybe gyozas, those were ok. FOOD. The ramen and main dishes are not just bad, they are terrible. I’ve had lots of Japanese food in different places, some better than others (it’s my favorite food) but I can honestly say that the food they served in Harakiri de Una is the worst Japanese food I’ve ever had.
The ramen looked good but was dry, with almost no broth. The noodles inside were stuck together and had an overall bad flavor. Instant noodles taste better. Yes, really. We didn’t eat it.
The waiter suggested some white salmon dish that tasted terrible.
Another main dish had pink salmon on top of a bowl of rice and was soaked in a sauce that make it look and taste very bad. We couldn’t eat it either.
I’ve never left a single grain of rice in my plate ever in a Japanese restaurant. But here I didn’t eat half of my food.
SERVICE. Our waiters were nice but seemed very unexperienced and had some problems getting their attention. When asked for the bill we ended up standing and going directly to the cashier to pay, after waiting for 20 minutes.
I honestly cannot understand the great reviews this place has.
We went on a Sunday, for lunch. Maybe there was something weird going on, I don’t know, but after paying the bill we went to get some empanadas and choripan somewhere nearby.
There’s plenty of nice Japanese places in Palermo. I suggest you go...

As a sushi connoisseur, I found my experience at this sushi restaurant deeply disappointing. I find it crucial to share this review to guide potential patrons in their decision-making process.
The primary concern was the quality of the sushi, specifically the freshness of the fish, which was unsatisfactory. The seafood tasted dated, which, for a cuisine that hinges on the quality and freshness of its ingredients, is simply unacceptable. This lack of freshness even led to a situation where I had to spit out the sushi, unable to consume it.
Aesthetically, the restaurant presents a charming ambiance, but this does little to compensate for the apparent risk to diners' health due to the subpar food quality. Such instances evoke concern about potential foodborne illnesses, a risk one should not have to take when dining out.
What further exacerbated the experience was the unapologetic attitude displayed by the owner and the chef's agreement about the quality of the food. This lack of accountability and commitment to providing quality cuisine is concerning and does not bode well for future patronage.
Given the sheer number of superior sushi restaurants available, it's regrettable to encounter one that fails to meet the standard. It's my hope that this honest review will aid others in making a more informed dining decision.
In conclusion, prospective diners should be cautious when considering this establishment. There are many excellent sushi restaurants out there, and unfortunately, this is not one of them.

Service 2/5
Ramen was pretty good, not too salty which I like. However it had very little broth. We asked for extra broth and they wouldn’t let us order any.
Sushi was good and fresh.
Gyoza were also good.
Unfortunately the service was just BAD - it took 1.5 hours to get our main entrees and we arrived when the restaurant wasn’t full - we also didn’t order that much. The servers barely paid us any attention and we had to wave them down numerous times. No one ever asked us how the food was or if we needed anything. We even had to wave them down multiple times to order. I noticed the table next to us had to do the same. When we tried to order and had menu questions, the server said they would go and ask the kitchen and just completely left and ignored us until we flagged down another server so we could finally order. By the end of the meal I was in a bad mood, the whole experience was not relaxing, took much too long and I couldn’t...
