Disappointing Experience – Needs Improvement

Our recent visit to this steakhouse was unfortunately far from enjoyable. While we had high hopes for a nice evening out, the experience was marred by a series of missteps and poor service that left us feeling frustrated and undervalued as customers.

To start, we were brought the wrong drink order. It seemed like a small mistake, but when we pointed it out, the server seemed annoyed and took a while to correct it. This was just the beginning of a string of issues.

The most significant problem was the food. We waited over an hour for our meals, only to find out that our order had been lost in the kitchen. When the food finally arrived, our steak, which we had ordered medium-rare, was overcooked to well-done. It was dry and tough, making it difficult to enjoy. We took a few bites out of hunger after the long wait, but it was clear the steak wasn’t prepared as requested.

When we brought this to the manager’s attention, they were unwilling to offer a refund because we had taken a few bites. They insisted we should have sent it back immediately, which felt unreasonable given how long we had already waited and the fact that we had to cut into the steak to see if it was actually prepared correctly.

The staff’s attitude throughout the interaction was dismissive and unapologetic, which only added to our frustration.

To make matters worse, when we continued to express our concerns, the steak was taken away from the table mid-conversation, and the manager argued that we had only returned half of it. This felt unnecessary and confrontational, leaving a bad taste in what was already a disappointing experience.

After some back-and-forth, they did eventually refund the cost of the steak we didn’t eat, but by that point, we had already waited 1.5 hours and were ready to leave.

The combination of poor service, incorrect orders, and the lack of empathy from the staff made a bad impression on us.

While we understand that mistakes can happen, the way they handled it was really inappropriate.

With better communication, attentiveness, and a more customer-focused approach, this could have been a much better experience. We hope the restaurant takes this feedback to heart and makes improvements for...

Here it is: 1 choripan cordero, 1 steak sandwich, 2xFernet con Coca, 1 aqua con gas - total ~ 65k pesos, charged 168k.

food is good though the cashier is running a scam. my 4th time here, been recommending the place to others, got scammed 100k pesos (approx 100 USD).

check the bill 3 times before paying and also ask for all the receipts including for card and check if the amounts match what you have consumed and what you are supposed to pay for.

And because i can't reply to the owner below: it was stupid of me to not calculate the bill myself correctly, there is some trust that is supposed to be there. doesn't matter if i have checked or not the products, their count, the total, and that every calculation is correct. the fact that i have trusted that the bill is correct doesn't make it better for you or your employees. they did take advantage of the fact that sometimes people are in a hurry so they won't check every tiny detail. I didn't even get any of the papers. Funny how each product was with the right amount and the same count but the total had a 1 added on the number.

Was it a mistake? Yes it was my mistake for trusting. Was it a mistake of the cashier? maybe, thiygh doing this kind of mistake say a lot of the staff running it and how you are doing the billing. You want to make it right? it was a card payment, you can reclaim only the amount that i was supposed to pay. You have the photos of the products, you know the amount, you can find the card payment and adjust it to the...

Ik heb in veel restaurants in Buenos Aires gegeten, maar Hierro steekt met kop en schouders boven de rest uit. Als je op zoek bent naar een culinaire ervaring die je niet snel zult vergeten, is dit the place to be.

La cocina es fenomenal. Cada plato es una obra de arte, con sabores perfectamente equilibrados y ingredientes de la más alta calidad. El chef logra presentar los platos tradicionales argentinos de una manera innovadora, respetando la esencia de la cocina local.

El servicio es atento y profesional, sin ser pretencioso. Saben exactamente cuándo estar presentes y al mismo tiempo te dejan disfrutar de una velada relajada. Además, la carta de vinos es impresionante y está cuidadosamente seleccionada para complementar los platos a la perfección.
