Mr. Ho — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

This was one of my favorite restaurants in all Buenos Aires. But I went some days ago after a long time and I got really dissapointed with the quality of the food. The kimchi that was served as a banchan was too old, and extremely off in flavor. Almost like 묵은지 but it didn't have a pleasant flavor as a side. The potato banchan wasn't good either, the potatoes were overcooked, under seasoned and gritty. There were more banchan before, so I'm not sure what happened there. The food was quite okay. But when the kimchi is off, it precedes to the food's flavor. It wasn't as good as it was before. Some ingredients in 닭갈비 were undercooked and some were okay. The Japchae and the bulgogi were okay though. I tried some curry noodle dish, it was not authentic but it was very good. They took many things from the old menu, it seems less authentic, more fusion, but not in the most delectable /high quality way. For now, I'm downgrading my rating. The nice girl who took our orders was able to speak to us in really good English and also made sure my girlfriend knew that the kimchi had fish sauce in it in case she was vegetarian because she ordered tofu, so we liked the service because of her a lot. Unfortunately the beef in my dolsot was dry, both our dishes in general lacked flavor and is supposed to be served on a stone bowl, which would've made the bottom rice nice and crusty. The gochujang sauce was not spicy at all, and had a brown color for some reason. The kimchi balls are a really cool idea, but I think it could benefit to have some kind of protein in it and it also lacked spicyness. It doesn't seem to bother Argentinians, I guess, so whatever...

Never thought I'd find such great Korean food in Argentina. Mr Ho really put the Ho in to Ho my god this is delicious!

The portions are really big and it tastes so good. Highly recommend the Korean curry and the bulgogi! I had high hopes due to the reviews and my expectations got blown out of the way.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They spoke English which was helpful. They explained some stuff as we ordered and the service was very quick. Great pleasure to visit!
