It’s a nice casual setting. The steak was good because I ate ribeye. For a Kansas, it was mediocre. They star you off with a small empanadas which was good and a side of hot sauce. The steak may have been a little overcooked as I ordered medium rare. It was fatty which I like but a little tougher than it should have been. I ordered a garden salad $10, which was more like tomatoes with lettuce and Parmesan. The tomatoes were good so I can’t complain other than it should have been complimentary. I also ordered chorizo. Not once, until I was finished, did the waiter ask how things were. I reminded him that I had ordered the chorizo. This was my first time in Buenos Aires so I thought it might come later but since I had already been waiting for five minutes and the food was just okay I told him to forget about the Chorizo and he just said I had eaten a lot of food anyway. A 12 oz. Steak and salad and two beers because they charge for water. I would not recommend this place. I thought Argentina was known for their steaks. I will try...
Read moreThis is a must to visit in Buenos Aires ! The staff welcomed and seated me immediately after my arrival without an appointment. I've got lovely fresh bread and two vegetable dishes as a free starter, which was incredibly delicious. 😋 The steak which I've ordered was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. The chef there is from a different galaxy for sure. I've travelled more than 99 countries in the world, visited many steakhouse, expensive, medium . . But this was one of the best I ever had in my life ! The Malbec wine on their menu is also spectacular. And I had to buy a bottle with i too home with me ! The dessert nutty , I just need to say that i will take their chef home with me 🥰😂 The food was gourmet.
This restaurant experience was certainly at a different level !
I am highly recommending this absolutely amazing place, and it's such a pity it's closed on Monday as Tuesday morning i am flying to Ushuaia to join Antarctica cruise. Otherwise, i would go there today for another...
Read moreOur last night in Buenos Aires, and we chose a parrilla close to our hotel after having passed by the place a few days earlier. And what a great choice! We had provoleta, chorizo, ojo de bife, tira de asado, batatas fritas c/parsley and for dessert we had helado almendrado and pancakes with dulce de leche. And of course the empanadas that they serve to start with. The service was polite, sweet and very efficient. And so nice that the waiter had opinions and recommendations. We only missed rump steak (cuadril) in the menu. It was rather calm as we arrived, but the fact that the restaurant got busy didn't affect the service. And the food itself was soooooo good, the meat was what we expected and more, and the both the chorizo and the provoleta were so tasteful!! Good portion size. Too much batatas fritas, one portion would have been enough. The limonade we had to drink was delicious. Too bad we came here only the last night. Highly...
