This restaurant certainly exceeded my expectations, the lunch menu, although we arrived almost at the closing hours of the kitchen, was still available and was outstanding, including an entrance, a main dish and a drink, we selected the 3 piece nigiri as entrance, they don't have dishes with salmon, but the white fish options and trout are perfect companion for the nigiri flavors, then as main dish, we had the curry and the omakase selection of 10 pieces, the curry was well balanced in flavor, I would like it more spicy but overall is a good taste for everyone, but the omakase selection, was certainly the best pick, ideal to taste a bit of all the flavors they have to offer, one of the makis that stands out included passion fruit in the sauce, but all the five different ones we tasted were perfectly balanced, the fish was fresh and the ingredients didn't collide with each other. For a lunch menu, that normally doesn't have to stand out it was a nice surprise and the courtesy and explanation on the ingredients we received from our waitress also completed the experience to be one of the best sushi we tested in Buenos Aires, we didn't have time to try a lot of them since this was a short trip, but this one will certainly not disappoint. All of this for less than 10000$ARS which at the time was about 20 dollars, it's a quality hard to find for the price. And that also included the dessert we tried, "membrillos con queso y maíz" which was also a nice combination to end our meal. So if you are near Palermo and you want to have sushi with a Peruvian touch this place should certainly be on your radar.

I stopped by Namida for lunch and had an overall pleasant experience. It’s a small restaurant with great service and an interesting tropical-style interior. The open kitchen was a nice touch—it’s always exciting to watch your food being prepared. The lunch menu was well-balanced and thoughtfully curated: three onigiri, 10 pieces of sushi rolls, dessert, and a drink. For the drink, I chose kombucha—it was very tasty and refreshing. Alternatively, you can opt for still or sparkling water, which is a nice touch for guests. The onigiri were fresh and flavorful, with perfectly cooked rice that had just the right texture and taste. The sushi rolls, though mostly enjoyable, had a slight inconsistency. I was served five types, two pieces each, and each pair had its own unique flavor. The waiter presented every roll and explained the sauces that accompanied them, adding an element of intrigue to the meal. While the rolls were fresh and the rice well-prepared, the amount of fish on top was not always consistent. One particular type had such a small amount of fish that it felt lacking compared to the others. For dessert, I had the choice of coffee or crème brûlée. I went with the crème brûlée, and it didn’t disappoint. The caramelized top was delightfully crisp, breaking with a satisfying crack to reveal the creamy and delicious filling underneath. Overall, my experience at Namida was positive despite the minor issue with the rolls. It’s a place I’d still recommend for its quality food, attentive service, and welcoming atmosphere.

I got a dinner with my girlfriend, and it is truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere was enchanting, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The Omakase Namida table was an absolute delight. Each piece is a symphony of flavors that took my taste buds on a really good journey. The cocktails were a revelation! Expertly crafted and perfectly balanced, they complemented the meal beautifully. The mixologist's skills were evident in every sip, making each drink a work of art in its own right. We couldn't resist trying the Pork and Humita Gyozas, and they were a burst of flavors. The fusion of Japanese and Peruvian influences in these dumplings was pure genius. The combination of tender pork and the sweetness of humita was unforgettable. And to top it all off, the Crème Brule was the perfect ending to our meal. Creamy, with the ideal caramelized crust, it left a lasting impression. The impeccable service and attention to detail by the staff further enhanced our dining experience. The ambiance, with its elegant décor and soothing music, created a relaxed and intimate setting. In conclusion, if you're looking for a dining experience that combines exceptional Nikkei sushi, creative cocktails, and a mesmerizing atmosphere, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their culinary treasures. This place truly deserves every accolade it receives!
