NEGRO Cueva de café — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

A very solid coffee place. I ordered a cake which I forgot the name of and a small latte. Both were very good and delicious. A great combo as well.

The Latte was made very well. The amount of foam to milk ratio was perfect. The Latte was also quite aromatic and didn't taste bitter or sour like some other lattes I've had in the past.

My friend ordered the dulce de leche cappuccino which he also enjoyed. Make sure to stir it a bit as the dulce de leche settles at the bottom. He has a bit of a sweet tooth and this drink was perfect for him lol.

Lastly we also had the tiramisu cake which my friends really enjoyed! It wasn't too sweet and the texture and mouth feel was very good.

The seating space here isn't too big. It's a very quaint and trendy looking coffee shop. I like the overall feel and decor of the shop. It felt very cozy.

Finally the service here is also very good! The person who made and served me my latte and cake seemed to truly enjoy his work. All smiles while giving the orders to every customer. The cashier also spoke English which helped me a lot with ordering :)

The place is very cute, I’ve been there about 3-4 times as they have a pretty convenient location.

The staff is extremely nice, able to give you advice with the menu or take initiatives to bring you water. There is a fair amount of people from the neighborhood going there and you will quickly spot the ones who have their habits there.

I had some very good pastries but I have been very disappointed by the toasted sandwich I got for lunch. A lot of fancy words on the menu for a dry toasted sandwich with very random ingredients, I’m not even sure it contained all that was on the menu.

I always get lattes that are good but nothing crazy, I’ve seen better price/quality ratio in Buenos Aires. I think the coffee is good but the milk should be managed a bit differently, it was not foamy/voluptuous enough, something to do with the texture, and it prevented me from tasting the actual flavors of the coffee.

I would still recommend, it’s a very nice place, and salads seem very nice, but just don’t be too picky or have huge...

Staff anticipated my needs in ways that made me so delightfully surprised, I am not used to this kind of attention to detail. Food was so good I got more than I needed, took the rest to go, and will definitely return again. Great vibe to the space, tables and bar seating are thoughtfully designed.
