Hannk Arístides Parrillada — Restaurant in Mendoza

The classic tourist trap that is located on the busy strip in the city. Against my better judgement I decided to try it out. As I expected I was again fooled by the insane rating this place has. This feels like a common thing here in Mendoza. Either people that visit here have no sense of taste or are too kind for words. A 4.6⭐?? Wow. It's the classic place you will find, a lot of tables, quick service, insicnificant portions without any real taste.

We ordered both the bife de chorizo, it was really big, and the entrana medium rare. Half the portion of the bife de chorizo was rare/blue, the entrana was criminally small for the price they ask. The fries where crispy but no taste to it.

The service was nice and helpful tho so nothing to mention there, they were great and clear in their communication. Other than asking for a tip too obviously which I still have to...

The guy at the entrance convinced us to try the restaurant, and the service was fairly efficient. However, the quality of the dishes left much to be desired.

We ordered four dishes, and unfortunately, none met our expectations. The gnocchi with mixed sauce arrived undercooked. When we mentioned it, the staff kindly offered to fix it, but when they brought it back, the problem persisted. The ribeye was actually not a ribeye cut, and it was raw, lacking that juicy touch that characterizes a well-prepared medium-rare steak. The skirt steak was tough and chewy, and the salmon sorrentinos were also disappointing.

The highlight was the lemonade. We appreciate the staff’s good disposition, but we believe the kitchen could improve to match the quality of the service. Not recommend if you want to...

3 star reviews are the rarest but this place is super mediocre. The food was edible but not particularly good. The prices are reasonable but not particularly good value. My fish and chips had one piece that was almost entirely batter but the portion size was great and so this didn't matter. The free bread and lentejas were awful but they were free.

Do I recommend it? No. But if you're hungry this...
