Great service with people with disability. We arrived with 5 clients, one who was celebrating his birthday. On arrival they said we could move chairs if needed for accessibility. The table was cleared and cleaned and we were all talking. I mentioned my clients name in conversation and she said the cook had the same name. The cook came out and had a conversation with his name sake. Another staff offered a free donut for our client for his birthday. He was thrilled with this kindness. It was such a welcoming experience for myself, my coworker and for our clients to have this level of service. It is rare for people to talk to our clients at times and a lot of the time people talk to us rather than our clients so this was such a welcome change. The food and atmosphere were also lovely. I let a few of my coworkers know about Cafe Coco for when thy are out...
Read moreWould be more than happy to provide nice feedback, but was denied the opportunity by simply poor service. Attended three times in the space if about 20 minutes but couldn’t get served. They were clearly busy the first time, admittedly, but not so much that the place was over-crowded. I got there just before a mini-rush and yet people who arrived well after me were served first. I felt invisible, being second in line for so long, a new queue formed which was instantly given preferential treatment. This, while a young assistant decided it was a good time to take a break. A little later, the counter was completely unattended.. I could have spent the whole day waiting. Possibly a blessing in disguise, when I later saw the profusely sweating, hirsute & burly cook, wearing only a singlet, retreat for a...
Read moreI visited this coffee shop specifically for an iced vanilla latte. However, I was quite disappointed with their preparation method. They simply poured milk and Farmers Union iced coffee over ice, without actually extracting the espresso using a coffee machine. I'm not even sure if they have one. The $7 I spent felt like a waste, as the coffee tasted revolting. If I wanted to drink Farmers Union iced coffee, I could have bought a 2-liter jug from Woolworths for only $6. What's more disappointing is that they didn't bother to inform me about this method or ask if I was okay with it. For your information, I don't like Farmers Union coffee, which is why I don't buy it from the foodland right next...
