My wife and I had lunch here on some pirate themed day and we both ordered a caesar salad but we added chicken. The menu specifically said it comes with a soft boiled egg which is one of the reasons I ordered it. And they charged us $8 extra each for adding chicken which came out as 3 strips of extremely dry chicken. I mean for $8 extra I would atleast expect the chicken to be tender and tasty not dry and tasteless. Also both meals came out with hard boiled eggs not soft boiled as said on the menu. So the end result was we paid $62.30 for 2 chicken salads 1 latte and 1 lemon lime and bitters. Not impressed at all. We were regulars but after that it's time to move on we won't be going back. I will include a pic of what a $27 chicken salad looks like...

Dined here a few days ago. The overall experience was ok.

Venue was very clean with an intresting fun theme which suited the location. Staff where friendly and well presented.

We ordered kilpatrick oysters as a starter. The oysters where very nice and had lots of bacon and slightly spicy sauce.

The meals to follow though where a little disappointing.

The chicken burger filling was that small it didn't even cover the full bun but was still nice. Definitely not worth $18 though.

The special was duo fish served with salad which again was a little disappointing. Fish, prawn and chips where great but the salad was very bland and had no dressing. It was more placed there just to fill the plate. Making the meal also quite small...

Stopped by for a quick coffee before our boat trip across the road. 20 mins. The staff member had no idea how to operate the tablet but promised to remember 4 coffees. The hotel was empty. No other customers. After 10 mins I went to ask the staff to transfer the coffees to take away cups only to see the barista talking to staff and had not started to make the coffees. The staff member said that they would bring the coffee out. I asked if I could wait because we needed to head off soon, only to be met with the response 'you'll be waiting for a while '. The coffees were made, three of them were not as ordered but I was more concerned with getting out the door. The coffees...

Great location in PA. Nice pub with good variety on the menu. Plenty of seating option from indoor to outdoor. Food was decent… garlic bread starter was yum. I had the salmon which was nice. Maybe a bit too much soy in the salad. My mate got your standard schnitty with gravy and he said it was great and loved it. So I’d say overall that’s not bad. Service was adequate. Fella who welcomed us on arrival less so and wasn’t very welcoming. But the woman who took our orders and brought out the food was good. Atmosphere is good. Nice spot there on the water.
