Stumbling upon Cafe Saba on a walk along the bottom of the Parade, I thought why not give it a go. First visit was to dine in with a mini Laksa and Vietnamese Iced Coffee. These two items did not disappoint. Holy toledoes Batman this is what culinary dreams are made of. The soup was mildly spicy and had ample prawn dumplings. No noodles, but I was ok with that being a mini. The iced coffee was a diy number, and strong enough to let you see through time. So. Damn. Good.
I then dreamt of my next visit. Every time I would drive past my mouth would salivate.
I finally had a second opportunity to visit and try the Roast Pork Bahn Mi. Wow. Crunchy, salty, fresh. Just omg. And for around $10 I was in heaven.
I am back to dreaming of my next visit to sample more...

I understand Uber has their cut from ordering with their platform as do the delivery people, cost of business insurance, rent, wages, electricity, water, gas, ingredients cost of living etc etc in running a business but seriously for 4 skinny spring rolls and 2 cans of coke, that’s an absolute rip off! Not to mention the flavour wasn’t incredible either, it was pleasant but not out of this world with the price or...

The main came out first, which is weird, but considering how unappetusing it looked. $18.50 for the pad thai... 4 prawns ( yes I counted 4 prawn tail shells) & 2 overcooked pieces of squid (they were rather rubbery), it looked like half a packet of pasta was used & the pasta was overcooked, to say it was the most disapponting pad thai I've ever eaten would be a huge understatement. I only gave it 1 star for the spring rolls & the accompanying chilli sauce. Will not be going back...
