We had a group booking last night for our work Christmas party. Given our numbers, we had no option but to do their chef’s selection which we had no issue with. The food itself was lovely. However, we started with a charcuterie board. It would not have been on the table for longer that five minutes before the next dish came. Then the next and the next. Within about 10 minutes of being seated we had our charcuterie board, croquettes, prawns, potatoes, salad, chicken. It seemed like it was all thrown at us WAY to quickly. My husband and I requested the food be held off for a little to give us time to eat what we had, yet it still kept coming because apparently it is all pre prepared and ready to go. The food itself was lovely, however we did not feel that there was any time to actually enjoy it because it all came out SO quickly. We felt rushed and had we not requested multiple times for food to be slowed down it would have all been served within a very short period of time. All in all rather disappointing.

My husband actually brought this up with our waitress who seemed very happy to hear the feedback stating that they have told the chefs this multiple times yet it falls...

A group of 6 of us (have never been here and we are from Melbourne) visited this place for a couple of drinks, we get to the door and 4 of our friends walk in without any issues but when my partner and I walk in we get stopped and asked to pay $10 entry. We paid not thinking much of it..our friends turn around and said they didn’t have to pay. My partner went to the girl taking payments and asked why the 4 people in front of us didn’t have to pay - just to be told, that we entered after 10pm. which would be fine but how can you charge 2 out of 6 people when they walk in at the same time. I stood with my partner and watched who paid and who didn’t. We noticed that people of colour were stopped to pay but any caucasian groups were let through for free. When confronted, staff said “managers discretion” then said it was because we came after 10. We got refunded but this just seemed a way to shut us up. Would not recommend this place if you expect to be treated fairly!! A...

Really nice food. Unfortunately we got a Sunday night 15% surcharge which added a bit to our bill, but understandable, just makes for a more expensive dinner so you don't buy as much.

We had four items, the croquettes, the warm marinated olives, dips with bread, which were really good, except the olives that were not warmed at all, they were squishy and tasted bland and weird we couldn't eat them. The last dish was the eye fillet on bread. While small, it was definitely delicious, the meat was cooked beautifully, although for 18 dollars I'd have though four would be better value ad there were only 3 tiny baguette slices with meat on top :( not good for sharing either as most people would have at least two in their party and you can't split 3 of them, tapas is a sharing type of cuisine.

The Berry mocktails were nice but took us a while to get but the very sweet, very tangy/sour part.

Thanks for the nice night otherwise, the outdoor tables were really cute and it was...

Booked for an early dinner before heading off to the Fringe. Table for four at 5.30. Option of outside seating but it was a very warm afternoon so we headed inside. Moroccan feel to the place with dimmed lighting, good sized table and a friendly welcome from wait staff. Nice little mood lamp on the table. Good choice of wines by the glass as well as a decent selection of bottles/mock and cocktails and beers. Unlimited still/sparkling water $2pp. We started with the shared meat/cheese platters which were substantial. Could have added more bread for $4pp but we didn’t feel the need. Added four more plates to our meal - salmon, seafood skewers, arancini balls and corn. All delicious and nicely presented. Wait staff very attentive but not over bearing. Oxidized glass of grenache replaced without issue. Venue was pretty quiet when we were there but all in all a very enjoyable meal.

I went here twice on the 15th of December -- earlier in the night for a work dinner, and late at night with some friends and acquaintances. Both were thoroughly enjoyable! The food was delicious and they were very accommodating of dietary needs (we had people who were gluten free, vegan and vegetarian). The people who served us were attentive and friendly. The decor is unique and beautiful. At night, the restaurant turned into more of a club, with what I think was Latin style dancing (sorry if I have this wrong)! People looked like they were having a blast, and security were both on the ball but very friendly. The drinks were yummy, and the vibe was conducive to a good time, whether you wanted to dance or sit and talk somewhere quieter. Highly recommend.

The sour melon cocktail is blended to perfection - wow - what a drink! attentive and friendly service in a cool atmosphere with Moroccan tiles and lanterns hanging overhead, complemented with Hindu statues and Buddhist paintings on the wall - very eclectic. The waiter recommended chicken tacos as a snack and they were too good!
