Coming into stressful exam period, Bank Street Social was the perfect place to head to. I almost missed it walking through Hindley St but the inviting nature of the doorway lured me in. The vibe of everyone was so happy but relaxed. The music was unexpected but it worked. It had a jazz vibe with a modern twist. I was so surprised by the wall of liquor, the range was huge and had alcohol from everywhere. My favourite part was the spritz on tap. Apparently they are pre made and are super popular, and I can see why. I'm not a fan of Aperol but the blood orange spritz (not pictured) was refreshing and didn't taste like a bunch of alcohol. For dinner I order the 'cauliflower tempura' and the 'haloumi fries' (not pictured). The cauliflower was so soft and nicely battered, and the pairing of Chipotle aoili gave it a spice kick. The haloumi was nice and crispy on the outside, not what I expected. Adding juice from the slice of lemon accompanied with it gave it a sour flavour that I didn't think I'd like. It was a nice place to sit and relax after a stressful day. It's definitely the type of place you give yourself a few hours to enjoy. Definitely exploring the rum range next time I go, with the freshly juiced pineapple 😍

We had a fabulous time at Bank St Social. We were celebrating our 10 Year Anniversary and were welcomed kindly by a beautiful staff member named Rose. We don't get out to Adelaide often, so we had to use Google to find our place of choice. We spotted this place and decided to give it ago, we booked in using the free online system. We booked from 5pm for drinks and were the only people at the venue for 30mins or so. We had great conversations with the staff and were delighted to see the variety of drinks and foods available. We had multiple of different drinks ranging from whiskey to cocktails. We ended up ordering the charcuterie board and it had great variety and amounts of food. I have never seen so much prosciutto at any venue in the past [thanks chef team!]. We finished the evening off by ordering a whiskey/chocolate pairing board, which was absolutely perfect. It was hand delivered to us by Drew who was most definitely a whiskey connoisseur! Thank you to the team, and if we're ever in Adelaide CBD without the children again, we will be back!

I received one of the best drinking and party experiences in here. Bartenders are super professional and I can feel the passion through their hospitable attitude. Tayla made delicious pear-fection (her recipe) for our group and Lottie catch our mood recommending the most suitable American whisky from that. Manager named Alexia always has her warming smile on when she host different group and DJ brings the best dancing vibe. One of our friend didn’t quite know about what she wants and Drew helped her find her spirit perfectly. Love this place and this team!! (And beautiful decoration style!!! ) *And unmentioned team members they have been doing great as well cuz the experience drinking here is really impressive ✨

100% disappointed !!!!! Last night a group of about 40 of us came to your bar and spent 1000s .... We were all having a great night even though many bar staff were more interested in their egos than the wellbeing of their patrons . My first thing was the manger just threw a plastic box in the entrance to the hallway to the toilet to the ground while people were eating and drinking . It gave everybody a hell of a shock . To which he laughed . Then final drinks were called an hour early than the advertised opening hours Monday Closed Tuesday 12–1am, 5pm–1am Wednesday 5pm–1am Thursday 5pm–1am Friday 4pm–3:30am Saturday 6pm–3:30am Sunday 6pm–1am !!!!!! Everyone of us ordered , to only have the doorman try and herd us like animals towards the door , i finally said something and asked to speak to the so called manger about us all ordering final drinks and what having us RSA scull them ??????? The bouncer by then became so very rude at 12am and started calling me mate . I know we arent friends as I didnt know him so i know we arent common friends to be called mate when i corrected him , he tried to then tell me to leave straight away ( none of us were causing any trouble at all ) ...... Im from Melbourne where we have culture and also dont believe one should treat patrons who have just spent 1000s in an establishment this way .... I think you owe our group a major apology for your bad behaviour . I hope this was an isolated incident and you never treat punters who spent 1000s in such a short time like that ever again . May i suggest if youre going to close earlier than advertised too , you change your hours online . I hope this gets to your owners eyes too . #disappointed #badservice #poorbehaviour...

Never going back due to Manager/owner. Place has a great vibe with awesome and very knowledgeable bar staff, unfortunately, the owner/manager (?) completely ruined the experience for me. Walked in after a very stressful day at work, just wanting a great wine to wind down. Wasn't sure what I had wanted so asked the bar staff about the wines and they went through them, obviously with a great background knowledge in general about wine. Wine I chose was described as 'crisp' and 'summery'. The staff were great when I took it back after it tasting off, with them whole-heartedly agreeing that the wine was corked. Staff opened another bottle, but it was the same. Two staff on at the time then tasted it, saying there was something wrong with the batch, but when they approached the Manager, he advised it was meant to be that way and has a 'salty' taste. My colleague also tasted the wine and said it was definitely off. So that's three people, with experience (I know a little about wine) who thought there was an issue with it. Staff member had to go with what the manager advised so asked me whether I wanted the wine that had been poured for me or another. I said I couldn't drink that wine as it was off, so chose a different one. To my surprise, I was billed for the other glass!!! So I PAID $23 for ONE glass of wine. My advice to management - listen to your professional staff and keep your customers happy, because a) I won't come back, b) neither will any of my friends and c) you get bad reviews... you just had to give me another glass of wine & I would have been happy. Bad Management. You won't last long with that attitude, it will come back to...

I booked Bank street social a number of weeks ago. However as the planning for my daughters 19th unfolded, over the following week, our plans ended up needing to be changed. Bank street only accommodated for up to 15 on their loft and we ended up inviting more guests than 15. I called Bank street social and told them I will need to cancel our booking for the loft.

Fast forward a few weeks later and I randomly get debited $150 from my credit card from Bank street social. A venue I have never attended. I immediately contacted the venue, after sending a number of emails over a few days, I finally received a response. However, the response was, we didn’t receive your cancellation and bad luck basically. Absolutely disgusting attitude by the venue when I indeed contacted the venue with weeks notice of our cancellation. I have had to submit a dispute with my bank for the unauthorised transaction. I wouldn’t recommend this place, their customer service is disappointing and I regret making a booking to start with and will reframe from doing so in the future. I will be pursuing my refund of $150 from this venue.

Update.. my bank refunded my $150. To recap, I will never recommend bank street social to anyone. I should never of had to go through my bank to get a refund for an unauthorised debit for a service I never received. Shame on you bank...
