Chatime Norwood — Restaurant in Adelaide

This place is starting to go severely down hill. I’ve been a Cha time member for 4 years and the last one and a half years whenever Ive order from this place, every third time I go in there, there’s a problem with my order. For example tonight, first time I got my drink, it was very warm and bitter. Nothing like my orders usual taste. When I asked to re make it they did but when the lady clarified my order she mentioned strawberry and mango popping pearls. I told her just the strawberry popping pearls but she put mango in it anyways. 2 times they messed up my order. There’s been times where it’s not too busy (maybe 5 or 6 people in the shop) and the two girls working it takes 20 minutes to get just to my order done. Because they stand around talking not considering the customers around them. There’s also been times when the pearls taste like straight up plastic. And have even been told that there was nothing wrong with my drink even after explaining the taste. Don’t go here, chances are the quality will not be good. Rundle mall Cha time is much better. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WORK, THEN DON'T GO TO WORK. Very bad experience. One lady is VERY RUDE. It wasn't busy at the time I visited (Wednesday with only 2 customers in the shop). I asked her about milk options, and she told me to use the self-order system. I tried and explained to her that there's no such option. She questioned about my choice with a very rude attitude. (ie Thai Milktea cannot choose type of milk, but i said i tried with other products, still no options) Later, when she took my order, I asked what type of plant based milk they got. She asked me to look up the board instead of just explaining Soy/Oat at me. I was terrified because I didn't have my glasses with me. Luckily, my friends quickly explained the options for me so I could make the order without pissing off that lady again. At the end,when she did my drink, she simply added everything in the takeaway cup, sealed it, and invert my drink a few times......she didn't bother to measure and shake before packing it. I would give zero stars if possible but I'm writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent experience at your Chatime location. I'm a loyal Chatime customer and regularly visit the Churchill, City, and Golden Grove stores, always enjoying consistent quality. However, my visit to your store was shockingly subpar. The drink I ordered, which I usually love, was poorly made. It tasted watered down, lacked the usual amount of sugar despite my request, and was noticeably stingy on toppings like jelly and pearls. I even had to return to add more sugar myself. What's more concerning is the apparent disregard for hygiene. I observed syrup glasses being reused without washing, and a milk bottle left unrefrigerated, raising serious questions about food safety.
