This was our first time trying this new modern Asian cafe. Overall impression was really good! The food was really tasty, the drinks were good, and the service was pretty top notch too 👍. Will definitely return for more next time! . Iced matcha latte: one of the best ones in Adelaide! The matcha flavour was nice and bold, and didn't taste too much like milk. The way it should be. . Iced Belgian chocolate: this was also one of the better iced chocolates I've had in Adelaide. Again, most places it just tastes like milk, but this actually had plenty of chocolate taste to it. Very good. . Tom yum calamari salad: lightly fried calamari, kale, green beans, apple salad, with Tom yum dressing. This was a twist on the usual calamari. The Tom yum dressing made it much more special. The calamari was nice and crispy. Really nice dish. You can totally have this as a light meal if you wanted to. . Balinese pork burger: Balinese sticky pork belly, fried egg, coriander, cabbage and carrots slaw, on brioche bun, served with sweet potato chips. Omg this was sooooooo good! The pork was really tasty and tender 🤤🤤🤤🤤. The sweet potato chips were so crispy too! Amazing dish. . King salmon: Miso grilled salmon, onsen egg, kewpie mayo, eel croquettes, greens and apple salad, furikake. This dish was a bit pricey, but it was an excellent dish. The big piece of salmon was perfectly done. The skin was really crispy and had a great Miso flavour. The accompanying eel croquettes were super tasty...
Read moreI walked past this restaurant a few times but never went in. Last night, my family and I decided to try their dinner. The service and atmosphere were okay, but the food left much to be desired. We ordered the Ducky Lychee Curry, and while the curry tasted good, the duck was overcooked, very dry, and chewy. Honestly, if this dish were available in a food court's 'All you can eat style buffet' for $10 with two choices, I wouldn't even bother trying it, let alone paying $38 for it. I don't believe the duck in a duck curry dish was intended to be cooked this way. We also ordered coconut rice, but it wasn't the distinct, separate grains you'd expect. Instead, it was clumped together, tasting like it had been soaked in coconut milk for too long and wasn't enjoyable at all. And the Glass Noodle Salad with squid and prawn. One would expect it to be refreshing with a kick of flavor, but unfortunately, their glass noodle salad was excessively sweet. In fact, I found that many of their dishes leaned towards the sweeter side. The stir-fried egg noodles that my children ordered were both overly salty and sweet. The noodles were also chewy, and I'm unsure if they were undercooked or something else, but the texture was unpleasant. We won't...
Read moreBig menu with many keywords to entice you, such as wagyu and Spencer gulf prawns. Picking any of the dishes with the aforementioned keywords will be sure to delight.
We ordered the Chilli Prawn Pasta and the Truffle Mie Goreng with additional Wagyu beef. Both dishes did not disappoint! The Chilli Prawn Pasta was amazing, full of deep umami flavor and big, delicious prawns. And it was a good idea that they placed the chilli on the side because it was fire, so please do yourself a favour and don't dump it all in at once.
The Truffle Mie Goreng was good too, but lacked the truffle punch I was looking for, and a fried egg would have done a better job than the soft boiled egg in complimenting the dish. (I would also recommend that you do not order these 2 dishes at the same time as the taste might overpower one another depending on which one you started with). The addition of wagyu to the dish was a good thing and even though prices are on the higher side, the quality of the ingredients definitely speaks for itself.
Service was good as the person who waited on us had nice manners and was attentive. Definitely will return to try the rest of its...
