Grand Central — Restaurant in Adelaide

Once again I have reason to complain... Had a meal tonight .. 7/6/2017 Cordon Bleu should not be deep fried to the point of not being able to cut through it ... It was deep fried so long it was completely inedible & tough ...I brought it home for my dog.. Even my kitchen knife wouldn't cut through it without a lot of force ... Also the meal my grandson had was also tough & chewy ... We brought that home too... To be honest, I am surprised a chef would allow a cordon bleu to be deep fried .. Does pan fried sound right ?? To Top it off... We got the entree & within a minute or two after received our meals... Entree should come before the meal & we should have been given time to eat at least some of it before the main course arrived... Normally any way ... Staff were great & I felt sorry for the waitress who was shown the hard crusty overcooked meat ... I did fill in the questionnaire on table 29 ... Disappointed ..... The one star is because of the good service & apologies from the waitress ... She offered to take it back to the kitchen but we passed ... I didn't want another meal cooked the...

We love dining here - the atmosphere is friendly & welcoming for a night out.

Food is always impeccably presented & tasty. First time ever - my fish wasn’t hot which was quickly remedied by apologetic staff. Well done!

Only negative Saturday night was the over zealous “maître d” chastising an obviously new female waiter for her setting of tables. This wasn’t just once but several times while we ate & the lass looked so embarrassed & berated which training shouldn’t be, but a more encouraging experience. Appreciate staff must be well trained but perhaps a lesson best discussed in another location as it was bordering on bullying or big noting perhaps..

Otherwise fantastic staff always helpful & friendly. Enjoyed watching the football on the big screen, playing keno & enjoying some wine before dining.. Great decor & night out. Will definitely be...

My food was hot and full of flavour but took an hour to get to the table. I also don't think the chicken nuggets my son had were cooked enough - he was sick in the toilets as soon as he got through three of them - I buy the same dinosaur nuggets from Coles for him but when I cook them, they're a golden brown colour and fairly rigid - these ones were no where near golden brown and they were fairly floppy and soggy looking. A chef who clearly doesn't know what he's doing. Not only that but the "strawberry sundae with your choice of sauce" was three scoops of vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of sauce and one strawberry. The only reason I'm giving this place one star is because Google won't let me give it zero which is what it really deserves. I definitely will not be returning, even if I was given...
