Just a really humble basic pecking duck place. We were actually shocked by how HUGE the portion was! kind of struggling to finish them haha! but manage to finish it within 2 hours sitting. chicken rice was really good but i forgot to tell the staff that i don't want any bone. overall all good, chicken was juicy and tender! i love the chilli sauces, that was the type of sour chilli sauces that goes really well with hainanese chicken rice.

ordered spring rolls as sides and it was fine. the taste wasn't really memorable. and for Char Kway Tiao is really top notch! love how the smoky flavour! plenty of toppings were given. even my partner struggled to finish the whole plate, you can tell how huge the portion is.... yet the price is also affordable!

I notices the reviews saying how bad the service is. but luckily it was fine for us. it was just the staff who supposed to take our order was busy cleaning stuffs and dishes, she asked us to wait her for a moment which that was not really urgent i guess (?) so it took quite a while waiting for her untill she put all of the dishes into dishwasher and finally she took our order. meanwhile there were quite a few people queued behind us too... just a piece of advice, the staff needs to understand about what kind of urgencies needs to be...

I kinda agree with the other reviewers that the service here is pretty terrible, but I think you can't inculcate Aussie hospitality into these old school Chinese folks. Their gruff personality kinda lends itself into the whole Chinese takeaway vibe.

My advice is not buying the BBQ meat with rice set because it's not worth while, instead order by grams the BBQ meat and just find your own rice, it'll be very very worth it. We got 300g of pork, 300g roast pork and half chicken for 36$, it was alot of food compared to the typical Aussie meal that is hardly even half of that.

We also ordered additional dishes and upgraded it to a main dish, the portion was bit. Taste was alright considering it's not a fine dining place, but if you come at the right time, the roast duck is...

Poor service and no taste. The boy taking the orders was rude and no courtesy. I asked him for chili oil. He told me to go and get it. There was no container for the chili oil. He told me to take my plate and get it. I was about to eat. Asked him for fork and spoon he pointed to a table a family was dining to go and get. Tissues he asked me to go and get it. The lady cutting the meat was so slow and no experience to cut meat. I ordered rice and three meats $16.50 Horrible cuts, chicken all skin, stale duck and smelly pork. It was just horrible food. This is the second time very bad experience. First time I complained the staff cannot understand English. A year ago the service and food was good. Defintely will not...
