Not sure if they own logan street parking, but today the gate was open and several cars were parked there. There were no signs to state it was closed aside from a wilson sign on a wall - however the QR code next to the opening hours is linked to a completely different car park (so I was under the impression that logan street was still open). Returned to my car (car park was empty) and was told off by who i assume was the owner of the mosque. Very rude and abrupt. Stated they have 500 people who attend their church who used this parking space (there is probably a max of 20 parks in this space anyways, no where near enough to cater for 500 people).

I have parked here many times before and never had this issue. Whenever it is meant to be closed, the gates have always been shut.

I understand if you pay to reserve it on certains days, but if you are going to be reserving it to the public, you need to have clear signs AT THE ENTRENCE - or close the gate! A random sign on a wall that is linked to a different car park is confusing and misleading. This needs to be...

First mosque in Australia. That's wow factor. I asked a brother if al-Qur'an refers to the Australian continent. Although I can't find it I found this: "When you leave your home in search of knowledge, even if it is to go to China, then you go in the way of Allah (the One Most High)"

Things will be rewarded according to their intention.

Very beautiful mosque from 18th century. If you are stressed just visit the mosque, if Muslim offer prayer and if non Muslim just come and sit in peace. All your stress and anxiety will be gone.

The people at friendly. The place is clean. The feeling is very inviting. Even if you're not a Muslim, you shall feel invited to check out the building and the area yourself....

A historical mosque. The Adelaide Mosque is the oldest surviving mosque in Australia and the first to be built in an Australian city. Erected in 1888–89, it was designed to meet the spiritual needs of Muslim cameleers and traders coming in from work in South Australia’s northern regions. The mosque in Adelaide was preceded by two earth-walled and thatch-roofed mosques constructed by cameleers in Hergott Springs (Marree). These open buildings, next to pools for washing prior to prayer, reflected those in the places of origin of the cameleers – Afghanistan, Baluchistan and northwest India (now part...

Beautiful historic mosque in central Adelaide (and apparently the oldest in the country). It’s conveniently located near the bus route and can be accessed on either side. The main prayer hall is relatively compact, but there’s additional areas on both sides of the main building. The women’s area is a separate room during jummah and one of the side areas for Tarawih (according to one woman who I spoke with). Also, in case it’s important to you, this mosque appears to be more Sufi (Dawat-e-Islami) in nature. Everyone here seemed very friendly and welcoming. Great place to pray when you’re in town.
