I can give you 3 reasons why you should train at iron industry gym: firstly, the staff were both friendly and professional. I gave them a call to see what the staffed hours were over the new years period and I received a call back within minutes. All smiles from the staff when I did arrive for my workout too. Secondly, the quality and the range of the equipment was exactly what I was looking for. Smooth pin loaded machines, dumbbells upto 52.5 kgs, powerlifting platforms/racks/benches, and a whole variety of specialty bars and attachments. I felt like a kid on Christmas coming down stairs to unwrap presents but instead I unwrapped a sick pump. Finally, the atmosphere was perfect for a training session. The gym walls are plastered with body building posters and wall art to motivate you, The shazam app on my phone got flogged to death picking up the tunes they were playing, and the down lighting was unparalleled. I almost got down to my jocks and started posing right then and there!
The location is a bonus too! Right in China Town and a stones throw to the central markets. Treated myself to a big post workout meal...
Read moreExcellent gym: very, very spacious with 4 racks/stands, 2 flat benches, 1 incline, 1 decline, lots of adjustable benches, dumbbells up to 50kgs, lots of bars including specialty bars (safety squat bar, trap bar, OL bar etc.)
2 pure gym rooms (1 modern, 1 old school), 1 big multipurpose room (e.g. boxing) and 1 jiu jitsu/martial arts room with full soft-matted floor. Also there is an additional room upstairs for circuits, sprints, lunges, rowing etc.
You can train pretty much anything and everything at this gym and the staff is highly capable and friendly.
Good mix of people coming in, decent m/f ratio so girls won't feel awkward.
I've been training for over a year and a half here together with my wife and been loving every session.

Read moreI have really enjoyed my time at this gym iron industries, I like the cardio classes. They have really challenged me physically and mentally, all for the better. It help me strength my legs muscles and drastically improved my balance and flexibility. These classes have also increasing my fitness level, the classes help me get more oxygen to my cells through out my body which has given more energy, and I feel less tired. Doing the weight sessions have been great, I learnt the correct techniques to lift weights, and what techniques body muscle mass. Before I came here, I was drinking, partying and eating lots of take away foods, so at time this journey, at times it hasn't been easy, and sometimes painful, but if you want to improve, the quality of you life, I would recommend give it a go...
