Hungry Jack's Burgers Westbourne Park — Restaurant in Adelaide

I went there with my friend and our two grandchildren aged 8 on Saturday afternoon to have a quick dinner before going to the movies at Mitcham. We arrived at 5:15pm and 40 minutes later our orders were finally sorted! There were only 3 other people (who had already ordered) in the place so it was not busy. They could just not get the order right … we ended up with food and drinks we did not order and then ended up with too much food in their endeavour to get our order right. I had to repeat my order and was questioned if I had paid! The girl who served us seemed confused (like a deer in headlights) when we told her we would be dining in upstairs … would they bring the food up or should we collect it. By the time we left the place was busy and despite having plenty of staff on duty there were many unhappy customers. Attended at 8:30 on 8/4 & 10:30 on 10/4. Both times bought Turkish Roll / Hash brown using a voucher ( only ever go when I have a voucher ). 8/4 took 8 mins to prepare ( only me waiting ) & EXACTLY SAME time to prepare ( one couple ahead of me ) on 10/4 Both occasions I counted MINIMUM of 4 staff ( sorry ; children ) NOT SERVING . There is a Fish & Chip shop further up the road with quicker service ( when they are busy ! ). I guess I should allow for the fact the " staff " are ALL irresponsible children . The music playing causes me to get out of the place asap ! The floor in the kitchen ( on both occasions ) strewn with miscellaneous rubbish & milk sitting on counter with cap off . My wife managed the first store at Everard Park ( called Burger King then ) and the equipment then was way down ; compared to now ; but the service was WAY UP . Have been here 3 times. Issues each time. Last visit I ordered fries, onion rings and 2 double beef whoppers with cheese minus pickles and onion. The meat was ordinary and the bun tasted sweet and stale. They got the pickles and onion correct. However there was also no lettuce and tomato on both burgers. The fries and onion rings were good. Each time we have purchases a meal here there have been problems. The previous times there were pickles and onions despite removing them from the order. My wife ordered a chicken burger. The picture shows it to be the same size as the beef burgers. It is about half as big for the same price. If I get Hungry Jacks it will be from a different store.
