Hungry Schnitz n' Grill — Restaurant in Adelaide

Not sure where to even start. Placed an order for delivery through these guys at 3:37pm, estimated delivery time was 45 mins. Was keen to try them out because I’d heard some fantastic reviews. 1.5hrs later still hadn’t received our food. Rang them up at 5:32pm to see what was going on with the food and got informed the driver had just left and was on the way, no issues. Get our food another 30 minutes later with no drink which we had ordered with the meal. Rang up the restaurant again to inform them the drink was missing and got told it would be a 40 minute wait to get the drink delivered. Another 1.5hr go past, still no drink. Try to ring the restaurant back up and calls wouldn’t go through for the rest of the night. No complaints on the food it was absolutely delicious and the reason I’m giving 2 stars but the service was completely terrible I lost $6.50 over a 1.25l drink because the restaurant couldn’t be bothered re delivering and never rocked up with the drink. Will be calling again today to find out what’s going on with the drink I paid for and requesting that it gets delivered asap. To some it may be just a drink but myself and my partner rarely get takeout due to money shortages and struggling with a child on the way And that $6.50 could of just been used elsewhere for a 2l drink at the same price. Ordered 2 burgers, 2 drinks and a serve of garlic bread, through menulog at roughly 6:45pm. Estimated delivery time was 7:30-7:50, I thought that seemed a bit long but having worked in hospitality, I understand what a busy Saturday night is like. I tried calling the restaurant repeatedly around 8:15 but the calls wouldn't even ring. At 8:25, I asked for an order update through menulog and quickly got a text saying "new ETA 8:40pm" Our food was finally delivered at 8:50. The chips were cold, one burger had what I can only describe as an exorbitant amount of mustard, that even I, as a mustard lover, thought it was way over powering. Ordered 1 coke and 1 coke Zero, thankfully I'm not a diabetic because we received 2 cans of regular coke. The garlic bread, I'm guessing, had been made around the time our order was originally supposed to be delivered and then microwaved closer to actual delivery. I wasn't expecting Michelin star quality, but what we got was barely Hungry Jacks quality. Definitely not worth the $67. Overall, a rather unpleasant experience and we won't be returning. Don't waste your money ordering from Hungry...

Ordered through Uber Eats. I was waiting over an hour, maybe longer. I ordered ribs, which were phenomenal. However, I was waiting until well past the estimated delivery time. The Uber Eats driver was also kept waiting. I feel bad for the guy. They must have had the food sitting for I don't know how long. According to Uber support, the order was complete and was awaiting pickup. Even though I could see on the app that the driver was at the restaurant. The driver had been waiting for 40 minutes. He wasn't handed the food until they closed. In what universe is this acceptable? The service has apparently been slow for years, based on the reviews. Someone get Gordon...
