Jalsa Indian Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Adelaide

Really nice ambiance and probably my current favourite indian restaurant. The staff are very friendly and greet you with a wide smile which honestly felt really nice. We tried these items -

Pani Puri (9/10) - The panis had the perfect blend needed! Just how its supposed to be! We ran out of puris of ended up drinking the panis as drinks lol.

Shahi Mughlai Soya Chap (10/10) - Absolutely loved it! Flaming hot and super creamy! Quantity was very good too, no complains.

Chicken Tikka (9/10) - It was super smokey and had the perfect mix of spices and the chicken was super tender! Just how it’s supposed to be!

Dal Makhni (8/10) - Really creamy and rich in texture, i had dal makhni in other places but this was really good!

Gulab Jamun (10/10) - THE BEST!!! Super soft and moist! Not too overly sweet and felt fresh as i have prior experience of getting server frozen gulab jamuns in restaurants here in Adelaide, but this felt really fresh! A solid...

Great food, friendly service, and a fantastic spot for families!

I had a really pleasant experience at this restaurant. The service was warm and attentive, and the food truly exceeded expectations. I was initially hesitant after seeing the brunch menu, but I’m so glad I stayed — the daal makhani was honestly one of the best I’ve had in Adelaide!

The kids’ play area was a standout — well-maintained and perfect for keeping little ones entertained while we enjoyed our meal. It’s definitely one of the best setups I’ve seen in a restaurant.

One small suggestion would be to install a fly catcher, as there were a few flies around (which is pretty common in this area). A quick fix that could make the dining experience even better.

Jalsa, the Indian restaurant is really one of the best Indian restaurant in Adelaide. I travelled from Queensland with my family and friends and we stayed near Melbourne street in Adelaide, we tried Indian food from other restaurants but I personally love and like ‘Jalsa, Indian restaurant’ food and drinks.
