Khukuri Adelaide is a true culinary gem tucked away in the heart of the city! From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

The menu is a delightful fusion of traditional and innovative flavors, showcasing the rich tapestry of Nepalese and Indian cuisine. Each dish is a masterpiece, meticulously crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients that tantalize the taste buds and transport you to a culinary paradise.

The staff at Khukuri Adelaide are not just servers; they are ambassadors of hospitality. Their attentiveness and knowledge of the menu are commendable, making you feel like a valued guest throughout your dining journey. Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur of South Asian cuisine or a first-time explorer, the staff is more than happy to guide you through the menu and offer recommendations tailored to your preferences.

I had the pleasure of trying the [insert your favorite dish here], and it was a symphony of flavors that left me craving more. The chef's commitment to authenticity and creativity truly shines through in every bite.

The ambiance is a perfect blend of modern sophistication and cultural charm. Whether you're dining with friends, family, or that special someone, Khukuri Adelaide provides an intimate setting that enhances the overall dining experience.

In addition to the fantastic food and ambiance, the prices are reasonable, offering great value for the quality and portion sizes. Khukuri Adelaide is more than just a restaurant; it's a destination for those seeking a memorable gastronomic adventure.

In conclusion, Khukuri Adelaide has won my heart with its exceptional food, outstanding service, and inviting atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a culinary journey that transcends the ordinary. Kudos to the entire team for creating a dining haven...

I recently visited Khukuri in Adelaide and was left thoroughly disappointed. While the portion sizes were decent, the food lacked flavor and authenticity. After my meal, I unfortunately felt sick, which raised serious concerns about the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Service was slow and inattentive, adding to the negative experience. I would not recommend this restaurant, as it left me questioning the standards of both food and service. I am reediting my review based on your reply, as it appears there's a misunderstanding.

Firstly, it’s perfectly reasonable to post a review a few days after dining. Feedback doesn't need to be immediate, and I’m entitled to reflect on my experience before sharing it. My review reflects my honest experience, regardless of when I choose to post it.

Secondly, it’s quite surprising that you question my location as a Belgian resident. People from around the world visit Adelaide, including tourists from Belgium. It’s unprofessional to suggest that only locals can leave reviews, as tourists make up a significant portion of restaurant patrons worldwide.

Lastly, your request for “evidence” of my visit is inappropriate. Customers are under no obligation to provide proof to validate their experiences. My feedback, positive or negative, is intended to help other customers make informed choices and should be addressed with respect.

I encourage you to focus on addressing the concerns in my review rather than questioning...

Avoid this place! DO NOT EAT HERE! The food quality was poor, further degraded by pathetic service and an off-putting ambience. In terms of service, the waitress came to take our order after a very long, unreasonable amount of time. Then, we had to ask 3 times for wine glasses, which finally arrived 15 mins later. And worst of all, the mains arrived but they didn't give us plates to eat from and didnt clear entrees. We had to ask several times, and then the plates finally arrived 10 mins later, when all our food was cold. The taste of the food was also very poor, whereby the curry lacked salt, the meat appeared to be of poor quality. The roti was not properly cooked. The staff also stopped coming to our area by this stage. Our neighbouring table was also starting to get frustrated with service. Finally the ambience was utter rubbish with the music as loud as some concert, making conversations difficult with the person that is 2 feet away. We were seated next to the bar on the 1st floor, whereby that bar was nothing but extra storage place and was very dusty, very unappetising. Lastly, when we went to pay the bill, we told our issues, and the person at the counter was completely unapologetic and confronted us about why we did not communicate with the waiters about the issues (to which point, it shouldn't be the customers responsibility to chase the waiter to complain). This place overall is utter utter rubbish, DO...

🌶️ A True Indian-Nepali Feast in the Heart of Adelaide! 🇳🇵🇮🇳 This restaurant stands out as one of the best Indian-Nepali dining experiences I’ve had — a true cultural feast right in the heart of Adelaide city. Finally, a place that offers an authentic variety of Nepali and Indian dishes, cooked with care and precision. Many items are slow-cooked in traditional clay pots or bamboo tubes, bringing out deep, earthy flavours. The spice level is gentle, making it perfect for those who enjoy subtle but rich taste. On Friday or Saturday nights, you might be lucky enough to catch live music, which adds a beautiful touch to the already warm and vibrant atmosphere. The restaurant is clean, well-decorated, and welcoming, with plenty of attentive staff always ready to help. The menu includes English descriptions while proudly retaining the original Nepali and Indian names, which I really appreciated as part of the cultural experience. 📝 Highly recommended: Try the dumplings cooked in clay pots or bamboo tubes — a standout dish with texture and flavour you won’t forget. Considering the premium quality, authentic preparation, and overall cleanliness, the prices are very reasonable. It’s rare to find this level of food and service at such a fair cost. 💫 All in all, this place has become my top cultural food experience in Adelaide — highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a rich, delicious, and soulful meal.

After a long gap, I re-visited this place, and I can’t say enough about the food; it’s truly authentic Nepalese cuisine, just like in Nepal. The thickness of the chowmein noodles is exactly how it should be, just like back home, and the way they fry it captures that perfect street-style flavor. The jhol in the jhol momo reminded me exactly of Narayan Dai’s momo; rich, flavorful, and unmistakably Nepali. In Australia, it’s pretty difficult to get the same taste, as some restaurants use alternative spices, but here, the flavor is spot on. I’ve visited several Nepali restaurants known for authentic taste in Perth, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and among them, Khukuri stands out as one of the best. My initial visit was quite disappointing because of the staff, but things have improved a lot since then. Absolutely amazing, yes, this is what it feels like. Just like home. In Nepal, everyone is kind, smiling, and welcoming and that same feeling is here too. The food is outstanding, and I wouldn’t think twice before spending money here, every penny is worth it. Every single time I visit Adelaide, this place will be my only choice, not just once, but as long as I stay in Adelaide."
